With all the hype on here, the poor lads got something to live upto.

We just don't think your son is good enough for the Premier League, that's all.

Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread
adejo92 replied to Happy Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
Kicks off tonight then. Sheffield United have a decent side with Hamer & O'Hare still there. -
He thinks Roma is a good atmosphere, he's clearly never set foot in G̶i̶l̶r̶o̶e̶s̶ King Power.

Absolutely bang on.

Don't think it's anything to do with people being salty. He certainly split opinions but I for one was over the moon when he fvcked off.

They are sh1t though. I'd rather someone from the crowd fill in at LB if we are desperate.

I don't particularly like loans, especially those without buy options, but it is probably the best option right now. Very few will be expecting us to survive this season, and if the truth be told, i doubt our own board think we will survive. I don't really see 3 worse teams, and that's without our points deduction. If we do survive, the season after should offer much more stability and allow us to buy players with a view to being a steady Premier League outfit. For now, we just need some quality in the squad so I couldn't care much how we go about it. The only frustrating thing would be if he is performing well, and is vital to our team, and then gets recalled by Brighton (if they can do that?)...

Might want to put it in the Fulham away ticket thread, albeit il wish you luck in advance.

Taking Brightons youth players to develop them is a stark reminder of where we are as a club now. That gripe aside, he'll probably be a good addition for us.

Yeah there's certainly a stigma attached to Vesty from his days under Rodgers. He will never set the world alight, but last season overall he was decent. I'd probably take him over Faes all things considered. If nothing else, the way Vesty has come back from essentially being frozen out of the squad, to being very professional and pretty consistent, is admirable.

Christ! If ever you needed a reminder about how unprepared we are for this season. These line ups are terrifying. The likes of Kasey McAteer, Victor Kristiansen & Patson Daka in a premier league starting 11.

Feels like he's been around for years. Anyway, won't come here.

I ended up at the chippy opposite the ground with probably the most greasy chips the ever eaten. Then there's that pub in the corner where it's that crammed there's not even enough oxygen left to breath. Then there's the absolute fear that the Palace Ultra's section give you. Like Legia Warsaw from wish.

Not a chance, close thread move on.

Yeah, let's face it, anyone with any quality, who wants a move, has already been snapped up. Genuinely left with the players no one else wants.... In typical Leicester fashion, we were already fishing around them players when good players were actually available. Carvalho, Summerville? Nah, Decordova Reid will do. 31 years old....fvcking 31 years old and he's what we've added to try and keep us up.

Watched a video on YouTube last night of the Ipswich Town chairman going over all their stadium upgrades for the coming season etc etc. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't swap our recent history for theirs, but seeing and listening to a chairman who seems 'human' and seemed to have a connection with fans, did make me a bit jealous. Our clubs just a stagnant mess with a complete divide, in fact almost stalemate, between board & fan. The Rots so deep throughout this club with the cockroaches I don't see anything other than a decline - starting with this season which will be nothing short of embarrassing.
-
Clubs a shambles. Bring on the horror show.

We could have De Bruyne, Haaland and prime Ronaldinho, but your still getting relegated with the rest of the team made up of the likes of Victor Kristiansen, Wout Faes, Janik Vestergaard, Patson Daka. Even the ones who we consider our 'better' players like Ndidi & Mavididi have a huge tendency to be dire in as many games as they are good. Let's not under estimate how bad a squad we actually have, not forgetting the likes of Soumare & Luke Thomas still sit comfortably within it.

Fulham v Leicester City - 24 Aug 15:00
adejo92 replied to phoneticerror's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Yeah that's fine then to be fair. Albert did Wimbledon away 39 times so no one else can have a look in. Anyway, here's me sat patiently waiting for people to die so i can go and support my team away. -
Our idea of survival is paying the pension for one of Fulhams old boys..

People still giving this game their money is funny. Honking game.

Saturday 3 August v FC Augsburg pre-season friendly
adejo92 replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
I know the results don't matter, but surely the way we are playing does. We've not signed a single player who's improved the starting 11. This season is going to be horrific.
