EFL Officiating Abomination Journal 23/24

Worse referee I think I've seen. -
Well, I think that was inevitable. If we kept 11 on the pitch, I think we would have won convincingly. Parking the bus with 10 men against an in form team is never going to end well. Coventry celebrating like they've won the league was a bit cringe. Never mind, on to the next.

Just passed another 'chopper down' banner on the M69. They've really been busy.

No, traffic might be bad so didn't want to risk stopping at Gilroes.

You'd be suprised how much staff & money goes into policing football. There will be hundreds of officers today taken off their normal work to be solely on the football. I'd imagine Warwickshire police have probably had to pay for riot officers from neighbouring forces as well. Same with horses, midlands forces don't have horses so have to pay for the services from another force. Think the closest is one of the Yorkshire forces. Don't know if it's still the same, but the football club only pay the police when the police are required in the actual stadium. Probably explains why you see less police, but much more stewards in the ground now. Probably changed, but that's how it used to be. The Rugby have a lollipop lady and still get less trouble!

There's a thread about those banners on the coventry forum & they condemn it as much as us.

I think the simple answer is that yes it is unfair, but I don't think there will ever be a scheme that is fair to everyone. It's been spoken about many times, for a long time, generally with the same responses & outcome.

Time to search for a cheap wheelchair on Facebook marketplace.

Best part of 37 years ago - no one gives a fvck now. Plus, it's Coventry..Even the FA would erase them out of the history books if they could.

I know our squad is ridiculous for quality, but let's not pretend Russel Martin doesn't have a really good squad for this division as well. Alcaraz, Che Adams, walker Peters, Harwood-Bellis, Bednarek, both the Armstrongs. He's hardly worked miracles so don't think he can feel too hard done by.

I wont be happy with anything short of three points. We have won 21 of our 26 games. They've only won 9 of their 26 games. They have drawn 10 games and lost 7. They are sat 8th in a pretty poor league. Not to mention, stats & facts aside, their fanbase mock our arrogance and confidence, I think a convincing win will put them back in their box. A points better than no points, but equally I'd take Chlamydia over ghonnoria.

Agent has just looked to see who's bottom of the league and then used them as ammunition for a move. Absolutely no way are they genuinely interested in him.

The Danny Ward. Just the dregs that have to be sipped straight from the drip tray.

To acommodate their extra fingers & toes.

With it being a 12:30 kick off, shouldn't cause an issue.

None of this nonsense trying to make up false rivalries with the likes of West Brom & Villa. This Is a proper one. Will be a very tough game, and I've not forgotten how fortunate we were for home result where they should have been out of sight by half time. A lots changed with both teams since that game, but we still have the same vulnerabilities.

Please tell me Danny Ward hasn't got any kids associated with our club.

Fabrizio reporting, there must be some truth in it.

Take it you just buy them and then worry if you can go or not?

"So, Mr Phoneticerror, we see you are interested in Watford away. Our first question is, are you going to Sunderland away. Nigel has a 4 month old son and he's been 5 times"

Don't make travel plans, put it that way.

Close thread.
