It’s an interesting junction we are at now. with 9 games to go we sit neck & neck with Leeds who have managed to catch up. Our dominance has wained and our playing style is under some serious scrutiny. everyone has made great points on why this is so I won’t repeat them and they are all valid. What I’ll say is I also noticed under Rogers when we started those few seasons where we dropped out of ecl we were on fire and played some amazing footy. The passing was quick, accurate, there was high intensity across the team and zero lethargy. Lots of energy, desire confidence. We even made remarks that it was like watching peak Barca at times. Our lack of quality in squad depth has really hurt us. When we lose too many of our cord group of players our whole system of playing falls apart. Leaving behind the few quality players not injured and they suffer burn out as they try to hold it all together. Enzo can’t be blamed for it all and yes he should know how to adapt and have other solutions but how when he’s literally learning on the job. He is trying but it looks desperate at best. His time at man city he never experienced this so he has no ideas to fall back on. Compare the rival managers and they are a different pedigree with a ton of experiencing knowing how to deal with different situations and flexible under pressure. lets give Enzo these next few games to sort it all out and judge him then.

This has to be the last saloon for safegate. we can’t get to the finals and whimper out again. something tells me he’s gonna suprise us all and go against his better nature and actually play on the front foot from the first game. He’s not gonna continue on probably so why not let the shackles off the players.

We can be hopeful the stadium expansion plans will still go ahead but might be delayed until the club gets itself out of this pickle with the leagues. Whelan & Rudkin are the new laurel & hardy.

Ricky would be a huge boost as would Vardy but the siege mentality must prevail regardless who plays. The players need to go into these games confident & determined they can spank the opposition! Nothing more nothing less.

Can we temporarily change ‘FEARLESS’ FOXES into FIGHTING FOXES for these last 9 games?

Nah he’s only walking if a better project from a bigger club came along. With all the trouble the club are in it’s a convenient enough distraction. Easier to go end of this season with us failing ‘if’ we don’t progress than if we win promotion.

Outside of Thailand and those Tiger countries I don’t feel the club did nearly enough during those peak years to promote our club to the max! Why no penetration of the North American market? The US loves a good under dog story! LCFC should have been everywhere like the other clubs are doing now. At grass roots there are club sponsored academies in all the regional comp leagues. There is no exposure at any televised events like the NBC sports. The club should be playing friendlies against MLS teams. This helps to sell more merch and bring in more commercial revenue. I just don’t see enough work being done and it’s annoying. Flippin Everton have more exposure here in the US and what the hell have they achieved of worth in the past few decades lol? Grrrr…. 😡

This is what scares me as we don’t still know all the facts nor will we if we are embroiled in litigation with the leagues. i just hope and pray the powers that be know what their doing in choosing to fight than plead mercy and take our medicine. maybe it’s posturing and we will eventually climb down but I’ve no idea. I just want us to avoid the worse possible sanctions where we become so hamstrung it leads to us spiraling spectacularly out of control.

We’re being squeezed. Feels like we’re trying to Avoid punishment in either league by playing musical chairs but eventually the music stops or there’s only one chair left. damned if we do go up and damned if we stay down. I will always support our club but I’m not so sure of our owners and directors. As they take on this massive legal battle which is getting bigger by the day if they want the fans on side they have to come out with a statement saying they have done no wrong and why. This is the one time they really have to come clean but I doubt they will saying legalities keep them from revealing. We are all just blind in this mess yet will feel the biggest impact of any punishment. Damn what a stressful season this is turning into just like last.

This is just getting worse and worse with every day. We’re supposed to be focused on these last 9 games instead were the new talking point on all the media outlets. hopefully they go after someone else soon so Enzo can get in with the job of getting some much needed wins. Let’s the lawyers worry about the litigation.

Here in California we are just waking up so always playing catch up with the UK folks. It will be a bit quiet from next week with the international break.

I just want the authorities to get on with it now. Since Forest has been slapped we are next in the media spot light. It was the lightest of touches by Doyle on Jackson and he goes down. It was a perfectly instinctive drop something he’s worked on in training. No effort to even slightly stay on his feet. Oh well the rules say any contact right? Bollox. started with vesty getting turned in an instant and it was 1 v 1. Atleast do the legged it back and tried. anyway it’s all history now. The boys gave it a good go that’s all we can ask for. now let’s see some of this fight in the league so we can win these next few games in a row!

McAteers first few games was different gravy. Was banging in goals left, right & center. Can’t believe how much his form has dropped off since injury. really really wanna see braybrooke & alvez integrated into the team. Our diehards like Ricky & Vardy & N’didi will keep missing games due to injuries & tiredness. This season is too long and too many games in quick succession.
