As long as we don’t lose I’m fine. All 3 teams look like they will no longer win every remaining game - this much is true from what we’ve seen. We have to try to win and if we can’t don’t lose. Take the point and move on. Millwall deserved their goal but we should have had enough to grind out an equalizer. Teams that have a champions mentality always find a way.

I couldn’t watch the game as I didn’t have a stream so watch the Madrid/city goal fest! Quite an entertaining game. tbh I though we’d get a straight forward win today. I don’t understand what happened the buzz from the last game? Where did it go? Why no fight to even get a point and not lose. Where is the urgency and separation to play each game like it’s the last one? Didn’t Enzo and KDH say this is how they are going to approach every game ? FFS we could have pulled away today. I get that - not saying they shouldn’t pass out from the back. What I am saying is it needs to be smart and variable in speed. In some games it’s looked robotic like without any purpose unless the players are deliberately killing time. Other times it feels like there is a lack of ideas so reverting to type. That’s probably why it comes across as messing around until there’s a press which is fine if they don’t lose the ball. The old saying ‘asking for trouble’ comes to mind. maybe when the players are mentally and physically tired they could do something else that’s quicker and more direct. Will Enzo allow them to?

Enzo needs to stop being so pig headed. Most of us fans have bought into his philosophy but with 2 conditions and that is positive forward intent and no pointless passing around in defense especially when it goads the opposition into a high press. use the time & space sensibly and reduce the risk. Avoid self inflicted errors please. otherwise tikki takka all you like.

A simple mistake from simply not passing it out quicker. I don’t think Madds will do this again. He knows he’s on notice and how dangerous he made the game for us. We are now at a critical stage where we need to illiminate errors in front of our goal (goes for wout farce too) and be more clinical in front of the opposition goal (daka/fatawu etc)

Mavididi deserves a lotta cred. We give him a lotta tough love it’s because we believe in him so much. He was getting tired but he got us that vital winner. I’d hate to think how much more abuse mads would have got had we drawn. I do like our talented young keeper but let’s hope he learnt his lesson today. These things happen and thankfully it didn’t cost us the game. Enzo please work on game management!!! these last few games are all gonna be hard. My only conclusion is tiredness is creeping in badly. The long weird pauses in the game is to catch a breather. Even MADS needs a breather. It’s the only explanation but it does lead to carelessness and mistakes. Game management is needed badly but it takes brain power and mentally they look tired too at times. Especially against a parked bus. It takes ideas and creativity and relentless probing. I say start hard and fast bang 3 goals in then ease off. We can play this way every week surely?

Fans can talk all they want but it’s the team that does the talking that matters on the pitch. I doubt Coventry players are thinking about doing us a favor. They are focused on making the play offs so they need to win their games. Just so happens that it’s in our interest too.

At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist I wonder if all this rule/punishment drama is part of the great Lee master plan to weed out the clubs that simply cannot afford to compete with big time Charlie’s. Inevitably turning the premier league into a bonafide English super league. The best of the rest get squeezed into a premier championship league and the current championship falling below. It sure feels like it’s going that way when you look at the league standings.

Historically has the top 3 always pulled away from the rest? If so have 3 auto promo places then have 4,5,6 & 7 play off. just my 2 cents. Prem league would have to agree to 4 teams coming up and 4 going down.
