Who's our 1st choice?

Marti Cifuentes appointed new manager
Guppys Love Child replied to Tuna's topic in Leicester City Forum
That doesn't inspire a huge load of confidence, even at Championship level. 2 who are really wide men, 1 who is adaptable, and than Daka who couldn't really score in a brothel in Prague wirh 10 Euros in his back pocket. We desperately need a striker... -
Marti Cifuentes appointed new manager
Guppys Love Child replied to Tuna's topic in Leicester City Forum
God I hope this isn't the case... If he turns out to be a Enzo clone with 3619 aimless passes outside our own 18yd box, then a single pass to a winger, who runs 20 yards, turns around, passes back to start the process again I'll very quickly loose my sh1t. Teams started last year to nullify this brand of "football" and I can't go through another reincarnation of Enzoball next season. The two pre-season games have shown we have a talented group youth players with great attacking attributes, who want to go forward and impose themselves on the opposition, Playing a version "Martiball" would just be waste of this talent, along with stunting their individual developments as it would be polar opposite to their natural instincts. I don't want to go back to passing borefests again. I await his first few games with interest before spitting any dummys out..... -
I think we will have to evoke the phrase "agree to disagree" on this one my friend. But Top at the time was, and still is a clueless B*ll End.

KBet (still working on exact company!)
Guppys Love Child replied to AjcW's topic in Leicester City Forum
If this pan's out and actually adorns our shirts I would be interested in the views from the Facebook KPFC happy clappers. Would they still be comfortable with the situation, and add this to their whitelist of KP can do no wrong? Its embarrassing if its actually confirmed as a full blow dodgy set up. Do we really want owners with a total lack of scruples. -
I agree with all you said. Also whist winning the FA Cup is an awesome event, ( and I love the fact we did) I don't care what people say we were very lucky on the day to do so. It took a isolated worldy against the run of play from Tielemans and a bit of VAR fortune in our favour for a change to gain the win. Let's all be honest, we were getting battered for most of the match. So our FA Cup win was a welcome bit of joy.

Personally I can't wait for the incompetent, spoilt, nepo baby to sell up and fvck off to play with his horses. IMO, he's just as complicit as Jon, Sue and any other influencing board members in destroying his father's legacy and landing us in our current weapons grade sh1tshow of a mess with their catalogue of horrendous decisions that are made time and time again with no concept of learning from them. Due to his stupidiity and and in-action he's continued to stand by Jon and Sue when someone like his father would have started questioning their poor performances and given them their marching orders years back, the same with the odious, narcissistic little leprechaun Rodgers, he too would have gone way before he did. It's been nearly 7 years since the tragic passing of his father, and we started in a slow decline the following year, which gradually turned into a "yellow" snowball, he's had time to learn and mature. Currently under his ownership we as fans have been treated with borderline contempt, a £25 charge to keep a bit of plastic, deafening silences, amongst a list of other failings we have all debated on these forum pages. His answer, give the customers, sorry fans some piss warm beer and a donut when they get too rowdy. Sorry. his past and current actions have done enough to sour his relationship with me.

I gather Fatawu is still not match fit/ready? Anyone have any information?
-
Eeeerrrr, what ??

I share your pain with the situation my friend, I really do, and I hate to be defeatist, but I don't think it would make any difference. The clowns at the top running this sh1tshow are selfish, arrogant and have nothing but disdain for the fans or anyone really. They care 'not a jot' about anything we do or even say, and continue just to ignor the situation and meet everything with a deafening silence. The fanbase is too split with KPFC softies for protests to gain any real traction and boycotts by the same token would also be a non-starter. As I alluded to it earlier they would just be ignored. Until KingPower sell up and Teflon Jon and Stupid Sue all fvck off, we will never truly move forward, as the rot is too ingrained.
-
No chance. RvN will never be a good manager as long as he has a hole in his ar$e. He would have just continued making the same bunch of errors he did last season. Like the owner and board, he's incompetent and clueless.

I know you are posting with a comedic face on it, but when you drill down and look at it seriously it really is sad that the club can't cough up 600k. Its less than Coady's wages if he's finally binned off to Rangers. Surely with entering in to a new PSR accounting period we are free to spend a relatively small amount, to pay Sheffield. Also how is the situation "complicated" according to some media plebs? He has a well documented release clause, we trigger it buy offering to pay the amount, it then free's him to be interviewed, we hire him and pay the release clause amount or move on to other targets if he stinks in the interview. Or am I missing something here?

I don't want any of the 3 if I'm honest. But I wouldn't. I've posted elsewhere I think Dyche's brand of football and playing philosophy wouldn't suit our current crop of players and unlikely promote the use and development of our youth players, who on Saturday showed more about themselves than the so called senior players. We would be going back to Cooper Days with experience and journeymen who have no resale value if we do make any transfers, or stuck playing Vesty, Faes, BdCR come the start of the season.
-
I don't really want either if I'm honest. But Dyche the dinosaur, with his defensive, lack of youth in favour of "experience" style. Or Wilder who will at least try and go forward and attack on the transition. Oh, see ya in a bit on other threads bud...
-
I like the high pressing from an Hasenhuttl team, so hopefully limited pi$$ing around with it outside our own 18yrd box, plus his fast transitions. As I said earlier. I hope it's Rohl but wouldn’t be surprised to see Wilder, as its just the sort of shortsighted stupidly our incompetent board and owner are renowned for, as they just don't learn.
-
I personally really want Danny Boy, and ASAP. However, Wilder IMO would be a better option say to Dyche (his style and general philosophy just doesn't sit well wirh me) as I like his directness and wide play. That said I wouldn't have him over Hasenhuttl who I think would get more out of them than Wilder.
-
How about Trevor Benjamin or Junior Lewis, both have got to be worse surely?
-
Anti I just don't think his brand of football suits our current crop of players, and its too defence minded for my taste. It has the potential to be a borefest on match day. Our biggest assets are our attacking players and the youth that need playing opportunities to progress, I think Dyche will blunt these players effectiveness in favour of low to no.re-sale "experience" both currently at the club and any potential incoming transfers. Its a no from me..
-
I fear that if we appoint Dyche that's exactly the type of lineup we will see. All of the players you have mentioned are either crap, or don't want to be here. Whilst I appreciate that the team can't be packed full of youth, IMO it does need a higher percentage starting or at least playing some part of our matches. We need to be starting player who want to actually play and give their all for the team, unlike tw@ts like Faes or work shy jogging donkey's like Soumare. Being a championship side offers the opportunity to "blood" new players or give starts to the likes of Monga to aid there progression, due to the step-down in opposition quality. Dyche if appointed I get the feeling won't do any of the above and will revert to experience much like Cooper did, and transfer in dross that we can't shift on for a profit like Ayew.
-
OK But I'd be interested in your reason why (genuine question)
-
OK, But realistically with an Owner/Board/ Club that frankly doesn't give a flying two fvck's about its fan's. Doesn't care what we or anyone else thinks about them. Won't constructively interact with any official fan representation/organisations with anything actually meaningful and useful, that truly does bring about a change, however small, A club that just greets the world with a deafening silence. So taking the above into consideration all we have as frustrated fans is this forum, so we can voice our opinions, and most importantly let of steam. Because history show if we direct anything constructively in the direction of the club it does sweet F A. "Because they are selfish and they don't care"
-
I'm inclined to agree with you there bud. Playing god awful Enzoball invited, IMO needless pressure whilst we were pi$$ing around completing the thousand and two passes outside our 18 yd box, "looking for solutions" ( it still makes me chuckle when I think about that BS phrase dribbling out of Enzo's mouth) in the name of controlling the game. You need a top quality defence if you really want to adopt this style of play. We were lucky most of the time...
-
For me it's the reason why we're actually in that particular situation that seriously boils my pi$$. The non existent accountability for the numerous fvck up's, ( is my biggest beef) be that poor acquisitions of players or managers, the stupid contracts, the allowing of players to run down the said lucrative contracts, the list of woe's whilst not endless is sadly quite long, and we keep on repeating the same mistakes and the circle continues. The financial pressure we are under at present IMO was avoidable to some degree, but only if we had had a more competent board running the show, and until the 'spoilt attention seeking man-child' grows up, takes look at the situation and asks " why are we in the sh1t?" like his father or an adult with two brain cell's would do, then takes some responsibility and does something about it, we will just stagnate or sadly get worse really quickly due to the drastically reduced revenue steming from relegation. For me the best option for the club is for him/KP to sell up and fook off ASAP. Hopefully the new owners will install a competent board to run the club but this time responsibly... yes I appreciate there is a risk when adopting a change like this, but it's pretty hard for it to get much worst.

Conor Coady (signed for Wrexham, official.)
Guppys Love Child replied to Iran's topic in Transfer Talk
TBH. I'd much rather have Soutter in with Okoli and Nelson. Faes - we've all said it all.before. just get rid ASAP. Vesty - yes, the championship suits him a bit better, but like Faes he's a tw@t and I Just don't rate him overall. Coady - Talks a great game, but is seriously overrated and IMO he can't back up all the BS that dribbles out of his chop's
