Watford (a) Post-Match Thread (2-1 defeat)

Silva can sign properly in 6 days... -
Ignoring the previous fixtures he's officialed for us, as per with many big clubs, every 50/50 went their way How Pogba wasn't booked for consistent fouling I'll never know, yet Amartey was off for 2 challenges. What happened to the ref seeing the guys lost his head or is too eager to impress (amartey is early 20s and rarely plays) taking him aside and telling him to calm down? No game management from him, lost control of the game, too easily pressured by Man Utd players and let them dictate his calls As per usual, he'll get no repercussions because we aren't big enough

It's a nice worry to have that Ndidi and Gray are 20/21as Is Chillwell Maguire isn't old either We have quite a good core to build with/on

Poll - Stadium expansion after 3 seasons in top flight

Will expanding the ground mean I won't get shouted at to show every steward my ticket prior to getting in the family stand with my brother? -
Leaving before full-time last night.
UniFox21 replied to Drew Peacock's topic in Leicester City Forum
People can do as they please unless it involves me standing up every minute to let them through ? But from the club's point of view, at that point they've paid for their ticket and basically everything the club will try to sell on match day so I'd assume they aren't fussed -
The Claude Puel Era - what will he bring?

lets not get ahead of ourselves now....

Feels weird hearing Dowie say "top bins"
-
Its also a really good move for getting city fans to look at or be interested in OH, people will look at how they're doing etc due to him. Will get more press from England etc and also for any Leicester players going over, may already be known.

Is Shakespeare the right man for the job?

I feel once all the centre halves are fit and we have our mids fit again we may see that formation change. -
Did Benny just do a Ronaldo chop...

George Thomas looks to be a quality addition

Some of the things that man did with the football was incredible. One sticks in my head, outside of the boot pass to vardy, curved around the defender to set him through, was just majestic to watch him play
-
Enjoyed watching the club play hardball, with the transfers only going through on our terms when we had fitting replacements
-
Have noticed the last game or so we haven't needed the cm to drop deep to pick the ball up and move up, giving us lil more of a "flow"
-
Maybe the challenge is less ability related and more about dropping a young prospect into a foreign country, culture and league and seeing how he reacts, adapts and copes to a new challenge? As well the continued almost guaranteed first team football in to see how he develops in a proper footballing environment rather than our bench or u23s?
-
Drop the lad into a relative unknown environment against tough physical opposition and see how he does. Great opportunity for him to thrive
-
Hopefully there will be a clause or something that if he isn't being played he'll be brought back

Is Shakespeare the right man for the job?
UniFox21 replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
I feel once again it might be a case of him trying to make to best out of what he has, recruitment has seemed iffy again. -
Must be a reason for the money issue, something might be an issue in the background, potentially tax or some other issue. Also, I feel that if the coach publicly complains too often, he may be let go, the Thai owners don't strike me as people who have gotten this far by allowing this to stand. But I wouldn't worry, the owners always go about things in the proper manner, may be sorting things out in the backroom first? Like when they came to Leicester they completely redeveloped the training ground and brought in quality equipment and implemented higher quality procedures. None of us at first saw anything happening, but from other sources you hear about how they've tried to strengthen the infrastructure of the club for a healthier future rather than just chuck money at the team for instant success.

Exactly passing wise he was good, something to build on Defence we were all over the place, lack of communication And didn't help playing with 1 recognised CB who who is hit and miss at best
-
No A few balls he passed and little bits here and there he showed decent skill and something to build on
-
He had glimpses of quality, it's obviously there, just a matter of tapping into it

Premier League, 2017-2018 Season Thread
UniFox21 replied to UPinCarolina's topic in Leicester City Forum
Man City are rightly favourites, but there's something not right there, the amount of quality in that club, yet they don't seem to get it right often
