  1. Why does Murphy assume the signing of Diabete means Mahrez is off? Why can't we have a backup? Are we not allowed to recruit now?
  2. Also didn't help he wasn't always given the service to cause problems
  3. Seems to turn on the spot and just run away from them, looks promising for me so far!
  4. Classic low centre of gravity, seemed to breeze past people, or do turns or little tricks as if he was at the park. Him and Ndidi/Iborra on the pitch and we have players who can actually create something. Looks a great buy, lets hope he keeps getting better
  5. He seemed to suit the role of playing in front of Mahrez, Gray and Albrighton fairly well. When we seem to retain possession and create attacks is when he seems to be at his best. Minute that first goal went in, you could see his body language change and he became better. Glad Puel left him on, the game time will have done his confidence wonders
  6. Seemed very composed and calm on the ball. And wasn't a stand out for the wrong reasons, just did what needed to be done. Would deffo like to sign him come Summer
  7. Benny for me being the weakest link here
  8. Was listening to 606 last night, Savage rating him at 75 million at least. Jason Mohammed saying 50 at most. Mate if Van dijk goes for 75, a former PFA player of the year is at least equal to that
  9. Surely only missing the Fleetwood game, in which he may have been rested anyhow?
  10. Just some of the rubbish he was saying was incredible. Anyone would think it was Chelsea playing well and should be winning rather than the actual game
  11. Great point today, unlucky to not win for me. But, the commentators on BBC, bloody hell, talk about the bias, its all Chelsea playing poorly, nothing about us playing well. And Danny Mills, fml how is he in a job
  12. Its a pain to listen to. We were all over them, playing well, yet its Chelsea playing poorly and Chelsea this and Chelsea that
  13. Rob Tanner saying the red can't have too many complaints
  14. Isn't it only a ban if a penalty is given??
  15. Listening on 5 Live and its all "Chelsea are playing badly" rather than us playing well ffs
  16. How is Benny on the same as Maguire, and more than Huth and Okazaki....
  17. "Everton and Leicester linked"
  18. Watching the front two of Vardy and Shinji is honestly brilliant, their work rate and desire is something to behold. They both go out and give everything possible, as if they were fans themselves. Players like Iborra and Mahrez as well; Iborra just appears to have hours on the ball and Mahrez just is magic. With most of my first few years watching having been Levein, then obviously League 1, its been absolutely amazing to watch. Remember my dad saying at the League 1 trophy presentation not to get used to this and it'll be a long time before we see nights like it again...
  19. Pretty sure if he was fit, he'd have been on the bench, just like against City.
  20. Agreed, removing some of the friendlies that are simply money making ploys and then there would be less congestion at christmas. If we had Vardy fit, he would've played. Same probably goes for a few others had we not had so many games in such a small space of time.
  21. I don't think the scheduling of the premier league helps one bit. The majority of sides have had to squeeze so many games into a short space of time, a manager is bound to not want to risk his first teamers for the the cup, given that a lot of the games will be scrappy and people could be injured. Now if they'd done this after a less stressful period of games, then I think we'd see a lot more of the prem teams putting out stronger teams. Sadly, at the end of the day, the TV money is killing a lot of the heart in the game whilst trying to grow it
  22. This more just brings to light how hard Vardy has worked to improve himself and his overall game. From a player absolutely struggling in the Championship, to now be a player teams dictate their defensive set up around containing. In all honesty Nacho probably would benefit from a summer or so of something similar. A Nacho with the work rate of Vardy would be a good addition
  23. Wonder if he'll ask for his shirt or an autograph? The dedication of fans these days is remarkable ??
  24. Absolutely sloppy defending from set pieces just seen the replays, pathetic. If that Vardy shot goes in its a different game altogether. But once again, lack of communication between the two centre backs, one having to cover the other and hence leaving Wague unmarked And why no one on the back post!?
  25. In a way I can see him being in the squad (at least) for 3 or 4 of the games. I can see him playing from the bench maybe for 30 mins or so in the U23 game to get back at it. Then play a bigger, maybe starting role, in the FA cup game. The third U23 (or the FA cup maybe) could be sat out, or a bench position Then the Chelsea game i can see him start or be on the bench. This way he'd get 2 games maybe to get back into a tempo or match fitness
