Got a weekend in London when we play Charlton. Got three tickets in the home end as there's no chance of getting an away ticket. Paid £38 each. Not been to the Valley before and wanted to get a match in while we're there, but £114 for three Championship tickets for Charlton. They're all at it.

The way he was walking around Seagrave was like he'd been there for years. Shows confidence and an 'I'm in charge, this is my club' attitude that we've not seen for far too long.

I love him already

F****t fan I work with is already worried. He said their form in the last month of the season was relegation form. He went to the Chelsea game and was really angry. He said they should have just gone for it becauase if they won, they could have gone up to 5th and if they lost, they would have still finished where they did anyway so had nothing to lose, but they sat back and let Chelsea play around them. I really do think they've peaked and will finish lower mid next season, especially if they replace Elanga and MGW with inferior players.

Against popular opinion, I quite like him. Being in and out of the side hasn't done anything for him, neither has playing alongside unexploded bomb defenders. Get him next to a competent, calm head like Nelson and I think we'll see the best of him.

Don't like strikers being the captain. Should be a defender who sees the play unfolding before them and can direct the play. It also has to be someone the players respect and will listen to. I feel it's too soon for Nelson so Riccy would be the ideal choice.

Really enjoyed that analysis, and it killed 90 mins on a slow work day. Mav was superb in this division last time, as was Winks, and they both have the added incentive of other players ready to take their place if they go off the boil. Feeling really positive about this season now and very much looking forward to it.

At last. Relief we now have a manager. Let's get the squad sorted now over the next couple of weeks and see if we bring anyone in. Looking forward to the new season now.

Not much. It's become mentally exhausting supporting us over the last few years. Need the new season to start and to start winning again to get the love back - the love of LCFC, nothing else.

I've just read a small book called I Claudio which just has a quote from the great man and a quote about him on each page. There's a chapter on the dissenting comments when he was appointed - most famously from our Gary. The general consensus was, nice man but he's finished now and Leicester have made a big mistake.

Don't get the dislike for Puma. The kits they did the season after we won the league were great. I've got the home kit with the Premier League Champions badges and the white away kit with the Champions League badges framed on my office wall.
