Was there really a time when most opening games in a tournament were 0-0 or 1-1? We seem to be blessed so far with interesting contests. Hope England don't break the trend -

Spain seem to have been playing this way for the last 25 years. -

RIP Kevin. He wasn't here long, but we all wanted him to stay longer. Seems he made a good impression at other clubs too. -
Ed's still having fun with water...

Can also see Serbia scoring against us, so let's hope we knock a few in. Otherwise could be a squeaky bum group. -
I'm guilty of sitting on the fence here. Ok, a bold prediction. Farage will fail to win Clacton.

I'm still wondering if Reform will get any seats at all. They're starting to get their "oddballs" publicised eg their candidate for Battle and Bexhill, who think Churchill was awful and we shouldn't have fought Hitler. Of course Farage is favourite to take Clacton, but I think it's going to be closer than most think.

I agree they are great. However lately, (and after an illness) I've rediscovered fruit trifles.

Dangerously close!

Maradonna or Pele or Messi? -

It is depressing that nothing much is likely to change post 5 July. Maybe more spending to bring down nhs waiting lists (which is good), but overall things won't change. Well, maybe we'll be spared the sight of our political leaders trying to blame everything on refugees in small boats, or on youngsters eating too many guacamole snacks. Maybe.

Only reason I can think of for this, is we know we're going to be selling the likes of Souttar and Coady.
-
We had to do it. Rumours that Chelsea were going to swoop and offer him a seven year deal... Ok, that is fantasy. But the reality is we've given Vesty a new three year deal. I'm giving up trying to make sense of all this.
-
I just want to avoid going straight back down, which looks likely if we have points deductions and have to sell our best players. If that means getting Dean Smith again, or going for a Rafa or BSA then so be it. We don't have many options.
-
Given even Rashford is being jettisoned, Madders can't be too surprised he's been dropped. We just have too many class forward players. Shame we're looking so weak in defence.
-
We're so fortunate the Euro tournament starts next week. Maybe we should thank Sunak for calling the election at this time, six weeks of this could kill us.

There must have been a company making a good living supplying that type of gym equipment. Now put out of business by the modern-day woke trends....

This is all a bit cloudy, and the person linked to Reform is a different person to the person who actually threw a milkshake. Best to let the truth come out gradually. A lot of conflicting reports out there.

Rishi was also being honest for once. With his wealth of course he'd pay for top private care if a member of his family needed treatment.
-
Really sad to hear this. Thought he had a lot of potential when he played for us - I think it was just on a loan basis. Get well soon champ.

Seems a great strategy. Instead of droning on about spending discipline and why the Tories are to blame, grab peoples attention by doing these stunts in holiday parks.

There was one particular game where Brendan decided he wanted to take a look at the young starlet. Taken off at half time and never played for us again. Such is fate.
