I asked Chatgpt who was the richest person living in Leicestershire. It's between John Bloor, David Wilson and Sir Will Adderley (Dunelm).

To be fair I don't get this from most Leicester fans. We know we've blown it now for a number of years, and the good times are over. It takes a special kind of mindset to have the delusion that the Florist fans had. Few other (if any) club fan bases could have that mentality.

I think a lot of this attitude stems from the Filbert Street days. Although some of us loved the atmosphere there, it suffered from only having 2 big sides - and the television coverage made it look worse by filming from the main stand and looking over at the East Stand. At one point we could only get 21,000 tops (if I recall correctly) so outsiders assumed our fanbase was small.

Yep. I don't really know why so many here are so happy when our players are selected for international games. I want Leicester players to be fit and do their best for Leicester City. Don't want them getting injured or having heads turned by money talk when going off on international week.

Nice story but seems implausible. Wouldn't most of the elite leaders already have their regular dentist? Doesn't seem likely they'd change in stressful times to that nice newcomer on the block who spoke with a strange accent... Not saying it's impossible, just extremely unlikely imo.

The good thing about all this AI stuff is it's stopped people (some of them) moaning that migrants were taking their jobs. The tech billionaires are introducing robots and AI that could possibly take ALL our jobs. Few seem bothered by this though.

Spain. Big support and stadiums in places as far apart as Seville, Barcelona, Madrid, La Corunna and Bilbao. Plenty of hotel and transport networks to cope with tourist numbers. Good value tapas and wine for before the match, and plenty of nightlife too. Only downside is it can be a little too hot peak summer even if the matches are played at 11pm.

The best choice he made was to invest in the air force (and also the navy). With hindsight this seems like a no-brainer, but at the time people thought that France (and its Maginot line) would easily repulse any German attack, so there was unlikely to be any major attack on Britain.

I've been working in Croydon with folk who drive in from local (and not so-local) villages. It surprises me how much venom they hold towards Sadiq Kahn (and Starmer too), mainly because of the Ulez laws (and despite the fact they rarely if ever drive into London in their own vehicles). I've even heard them express surprise that anyone voted for Kahn, talk about an echo chamber. It's a bit like those social voices who never visit London yet are certain crime is getting a lot worse.

All the failed Tories are joining Reform. Doesn’t seem like much of a vote winner to me, but who knows?

I have no problem with slower drivers on a dual carriageway or motorway. That's why we have lanes, and who knows maybe there is something wrong with their vehicle and they just need to get home or to a garage. What does annoy me is the driver going 20-30 on a single lane road with 40pmh limit, and delaying a huge queue of traffic behind because he or she hasn't paid attention to the speed signs.
