  1. Chris Cummings at the IA calling for private assets to be held with ISAs lol, assume that means private credit as well. Good in theory but get ready for happy clappers like in this thread pumping up and buying assets they don't have the foggiest about, on the proviso of 'I've done my research and made short term gains.' More flow and liquidity creates more dumping options into dumb money which is of course what the industry wants. Edit - he actually addresses it directly. 'Cummings noted that liquidity was “absolutely” a concern for wealth managers.' They want access to happy clappers.
  2. Yeh I watched it over 2 nights. Plot is quite simple, action is decent. Worth a watch but I didn’t think too much of it
  3. Yep it will die maximum 2034 world cup, if not before. Enjoy it whilst you can, I will defo go to world cup 2026. Put it down as another thing the greediest generation to have ever lived have destroyed due to their incompetence.
  4. I don't like him because he's weird, but I will begrudgingly agree with everything you say here. You are right on all points you make IMO. Also he's an exceptional driver. Don't want him to win on Sunday but can defo see him doing so.
  5. Why isn't it? This is a classic F1 team, with two young drivers who have never won the title, no clear no.1, who are allowed to go wheel to wheel in every race. What more do you want, them be allowed to have a NASCAR style crash every race to keep you interested?
  6. This isn’t a class. They do what you describe in your last sentence.
  7. Short of a few hundred million dollars in the old format
  8. Omg yes. There’s a large group of definite inbreds in my gym that do ‘shark tank Sundays’ - mock hyrox that takes over half a floor of the gym. They move rowing machines and bikes outside . They’re often topless and congratulate each other as enthusiastically as arsenal fans after a 3-1 home win against qpr in February. It’s so cringe and I don’t know why they don’t see it. Prob coz of aforementioned inbreeding
  9. Yes agreed, literally what I just wrote. The happy clappers would be better off putting their substantial negative energy towards a positive at foxes trust reform.
  10. Well done and please keep it up. To the happy clappers constantly moaning about KPFC and how the club's gone mate, worth considering directing your considerable energies to helping these guys continue to effect positive change.
  11. I don't get the fixation with air fryers either. But can imagine if I got an air fryer I would be obsessed with it for 9 months, tell everyone that I have an air fryer and how great it is, then forget it ever existed. This is why I very rarely buy shiny material things.
  12. Hahahahahah I've also thought the league cup draw is run by a bunch of stoners. Confirmation.
  13. It’s good that they’ll announce all tv changes up to jan, if they stick to their timetable. There a lot of 1230 games in the champo
  14. Flight to Jordan next week cancelled, not unexpectedly I guess. Decision to make now to book a flight with another provider or go to Ibiza instead and see Armin killing it at Ushuaia
  15. Agreed, hence my post on black edge above. The floors of Jane Street, Citadel et al see so much flow they will always be well ahead of you. 'Doing your own research' comprises prob 10% of trading reality on small cap equity.
  16. Well more to remember we are all 'inexperienced' - unless you have black edge it's not accurate to say 'do your own research' on a penny stock and everything will be fine. There's a whole industry able to front run you.
  17. Been putting the odd game on in the background, via a stream so as not to add to viewing figures. I’m looking out for games not involving European teams tho
  18. Didn’t see that coming after day 1. Looking forward to edgbaston and OT now. Bring on the £8 pints!
  19. Latin America!! This is how wars are started
  20. Where are you? I’m hoping you say Spain, Italy or france so I can make a poor work ethic related joke. On a serious note I had a client in Barcelona so went out there often to work. Loved it. Get in at 10, 2.5 hour lunch, if it’s even a bit hot log off at 5/530.
  21. Some great points very well put there. Have got no evidence to disagree with any points tbh
  22. I love the colonialist attitude we still have in this country. If European teams were dominating - shambles of a competition mate shambles joke shambles Turns out European teams aren’t dominating and South American teams are showing a committed, competitive edge. ‘None of this tippy tappy sh1te’ even - let’s make some lame excuses about it being a shambles. It’s a stupid tournament but the European do care and want the money.
  23. Yep exactly. Heat and humidity are totally different things. If you’re happy clapping around a child friendly resort in Halidiki, it’s v different to working 12 hours as a labourer in Barnsley on a day like today
  24. Dude cmon now. I’ve been in the Middle East in 51 degrees in jeans and t shirt and not sweated. Uk ‘heat’ is pure soggy humidity. And obviously on a normal day we have to wear our monkey suits, drive cars on highways and sit in offices and work. Not happy clap a sh1tty Spanish all inclusive resort
  25. Yep it’s a lot. But after a really fun day out and minor heatstroke it seems very worth it. I’m sure as the 2nd and 4th tests get nearer I won’t drive. It’s particularly galling as I want to the last Eng v ind test in dharamsala which was £2.50 a ticket.
