Villa and spurs are absolute light years ahead of us lol. Ollie Watkins is a killer. But yeh on paper perhaps not. I guess going for it next year is in the plan Lol -
Stormzy and zahas team afc Croydon beat jersey bulls in the playoff semis, and one more game to join Farnham in promotion

Amazing, unspeakably stunning effort for the display. What a standout effort to make that by hand. Simply outstanding. I’m running out of superlatives to describe it and how impressed I am. Superb

What is a 'registered disability' ?? Can you get a depression sick note and use that to avoid the £25 fee? -
Forest and Liverpool have, as far as I thought, got on given they will forever be intrinsically linked by what happened in 1989. Get where you're coming from re Spurs and they should never be counted as a rival. But clubs like Liverpool, Spurs and Leeds will always attract malign from every fan base, forever. That might spread to Newcastle soon if they start winning trophies. And Wrexham if they climb the leagues under the super cool super dudes

Novo hit big numbers of their Wegovy sales, they state they are signing up 25,000 new users A WEEK in the USA. Incredible. Share price dipped as sales below forecast which is great for buying. I have never bought into any hype, crypto is not serious, tech bull run will run out, gold will eventually lose steam - but with the fat people drugs, I am struggling to find a future scandal or end of hype event. All the drugs do is suppress your hunger lol, no affect on kids anxiety etc etc. There will be an upward slope into perpetuity of fat and lazy people to buy these drugs, and prices will surely steadily go up as competition levels out in the coming years.

Agreeing!

Finally a gear ground as a result of others gears being ground by nonsense. People make media soundbites to line their own pockets, don't listen to it, certainly don't get annoyed by it!! The yank is in the market to skim as much money as possible from his fellow yanks via pointless pre season games, that's OK.

Yeh from idiots like this… Good on you mate, you’re always gonna be far better off in what really matters in life than the cretins such as the above

What Will You Miss From The Championship?

Terrible terrible football. Strikers worse than Ade Akinbyi. Midfielders as fit as Daniel lambert. Centre backs weaker than the milkybar kid -

27%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guesses: 1. Pension plan provider 2. Pension consultant 3. Pension advisor
-
An old rule is to invest 100 - minus your age as a percentage in assets. Tbh these days 110 is probably more accurate. Not just pensions, any assets inc housing/cash etc. I totally get the huge tax efficiency angle and employer contribution positives of a company pension, but I do not contribute anymore than the minimum that gets me the max employer contribution. Whilst younger I can do some riskier things (not fcking BTC or Nvidia)
-
Interesting rule, never heard of that one! Only rules I have come across are: invest 100 - your age as a percentage (e.g the 35 year old in question would invest 65% of all cash coming in) and have £3k a month cash in retirement for 30 years of retired life is prob prudent. Obvs now that £3k figure is going to need to stretch.
-
Mate that is insane, a quarter of your salary into your pot. Your only worry is prob drawdown options and how much fun to have

What Have You Enjoyed Most About This Season?
grobyfox1990 replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Reading this forum actually. Apart from our two month holiday, it's been such easy plain sailing in thsi league and the negativity has been kept to a minimum. Even when we were smashing everyone, the 'hate this style of football mate' types were largely kept in their boxes, reared their ugly heads during our holiday, now have been drowned out again by a wave of positivity this morning. It will tough again next season when after a few matches Enzo is the worst manager ever, Hermansen is a joke, 'insert new signing here' needs to die, passing the ball is a criminal act, Fatawu is terrible etc etc. But wow it's enjoyable reading this morning and I'm enjoying it. -
What great reading all of this is, fantastic. Makes a very welcome and refreshing change from the moaning and droning about 'modern football' - puts a spring in your step

What Have You Enjoyed Most About This Season?

Drunk Matt Elliott, incredibly badly dressed Iwan Thomas and a generally horrendous production by Foxes hub. Other than that, nothing. it's half rate football played by weak and inept chuggers. Looking forward to next season and watching real athletes again. -
Back from Washington DC when working there

This is a ‘popular’ opinion but completely wrong imo. Protests are a fabric of British society and largely respected. Look at the protests happening at our club now! Fan groups statements on the ST loyalty tax and membership of the trust nearly doubling overnight to protest against the club. Not a bad word to say against them. Media funded idiots like just stop oil etc aren’t protests, they’re just media funded idiots designed to divide.
-
You must be kidding. You’re constantly banging on about non league. This promotion has nothing to do with you
-
Agreed. Being involved in the minutiae of scenario analysis of climate impact and court action, its quite galling to see trust fund kids kicking up the biggest stink, ie the biggest obstacle to a just transition. Then again, a majority will decide our fate, that’s democracy and that’s apparently sacrosanct
-
Why do you think it’s top of my list? I had a very tough exam yesterday and am in court two days next week. However luckily I am a competent adult who can focus on multiple competing priorities at once. I believe any unjustified tax is worth fighting against, whether it’s 25p or £25. But if you wokey types want to bend over and pay up that’s fine.
