Logically true, realistically incorrect. Back when the UK Gov did not rip you off at every opportunity, you could carry unused months forward when renewing. Also, many countries require a certain amount of time left on your passport. Therefore you could have had a passport issued a decade and 6 months ago, meet all the validity rules at check in, then be turned away at the gate. It's easy when you go on a spoon-fed package holiday, plus not everyone has the capacity/ability/lack of anxiety to navigate all these changes, that's why articles like this and people like MSE are vital in highlighting them. My passport is full so I have to get a new one with 3 years of my old one o/s. So it would have hit me as I should have a passport dated Apr 24, 10 years term + 3 years which I already paid for. But as UK Gov only exist to skin their people to the bone, I lose out on 3 years and this rule won't hit me.

Also apologies for my comment coming across as a **** I also fully agree with your advice

No need for the smug condescending comment, especially if you’re asking a private question. It’s an investment tips forum, if you think it’s good advice to keep 6-9 months expenses in a saver, just say it

Yeh, done a lads weekend in Bucharest which is self explanatory. Cheap booze, strip club, shooting, go karts. Did 3 days with my wife where we did a hike across the mountains, pretty good. 10 days is a huge amount, you could do a solid hike and Bucharest easily

Since last May, aside from trackers, the only thing I have bought are the fat people weight loss drug stocks. This calendar year I haven't put anything into trackers, just the fat people stocks. It seems too good to be true but also unbelievably simple, all the pills do is suppress hunger Lol. Never bought into any of the fads i.e. tech, AI, crypto, WFH stocks until this one.

Yes that's what I thought too. And a release today will coincide with all the press around 'don't go to Germany if you're a hooligan!!' Easy clicks - of which I am now one...
-
I do not think this counts internal club bans, appears to be counting football banning orders, which I thought could only be imposed by authorities. Suspect this story has been released to farm clicks given the barrage of morning media around hooligans being banned from going to Germany this summer.

Max out, worth the early wake up!

Great day at the jersey bulls, with the demise of the rugby, the football club have stepped up the corporate brilliantly. Good 3 courses and entertainment, and we can attract senior guests. Jersey went 2 up against unbeaten Farnham, they scraped 2 goals in the last 20 mins to draw and extend their unbeaten run, and win the league. 100 of their fans traveled. Just saw the ref and the lino’s whilst neck deep in a kebab walking home, called them ****’s and ran away. Perfect day

Unanimously agree. I do believe some things should be illogically sacred, and a national flag should be one of them. Just leave it alone. But... the depth of vacuousness (on both sides) of the British public is alarming. You've obviously got those getting their knickers in a twist over the desecration of the flag, wokeism, lefty politics, trans people, immigrants etc etc. But the worst is those who are going out of their way to prove they are so much cleverer and justifying what Nike have done. It's nothing more than a PR campaign because someone got too hammered at NED, forgot to put some plastic on and now has an incoming kid he wants nothing to do with and therefore needs to bump up his quarterly bonus to pay for it. You're all as dumb as each other by debating it!!

I blame you for giving them a penny in the first place. Joking!! Inevitable move for WBA, although surprised at the time, presumably they will compete with BT who have the 12.30 PL game. All eyes on what happens with Preston...

And therein lies the main point. It’d suit every stakeholder if there was less football, but of a higher quality. Decent ko times and rest periods that allow elite athletes to perform at their best. There are so many injuries this season it’s become counter intuitive. And perform the middle aged daily mail aficionados jump in, I know George best played 1000 games a week whilst pissed, but the game is played at an exponentially higher level today
-
All true. Counter to that is the British culture does not allow us to organise, develop and take action on a mass scale. We’re too middle class, comfortable and lazy. Also their league is pointless. Bayern domination interspersed with a surprise package like leverkusen before Bayern raid them and dominate again. We’d all be whinging about ‘the big 1 domination’ within days

You could take loads of family pics at the viewing today, farm Instagram likes, then buy a normal house to live in? #brainstorming
-
Loads of spiders and sky high insurance costs. Yeh you’ll get likes on Instagram but then you actually have to live in it.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
grobyfox1990 replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
So we get docked 4 points next season. There will be 3 clubs that are comprehensively worse than us. All part of the magic mushroom roundabout that is supporting city, no one said it’d be easy -

Ah fair enough. You mean both legs are midweek. That is absurd if so. Anyway let Cov, Ipswich et al worry about this, we'll be up as champions

Hahah yes meme-worthy I admit. I either want a mega adventure in absolute 5* luxury or a repercussion free and cheap dump. Nothing in the middle. And I do not want to spend too much money. I am forever scared by my trip to Santorini. Spent a job lot of cash for utter boredom, basic 3* accommodation and half rate scenery. I then realised that this pretty much sums up most of Europe
-
Playoff games have always been midweek, there isn't enough time to get them played before the final. But yes, your first sentence is spot on.
-
Cheap n easy. Can do what you want without repercussion

I love Skegness, my stag was in Skegness. I’m sure there was a direct train service then as I had mates come from London

Brilliant, finally something that works for me. Watch us life the trophy by 3pm and still the whole day ahead

That’s what I mean. Join a group like UFS and plug away if you care that much. Their experience is like banging your head against a wall, that’s no reason to give up. Keep banging if you care. I presume that’s how tifos and singing sections appear. I work in sustainability reporting, we’ve been banging our heads against a global brick wall for decades and only now are we getting some headway lol. If 90% fans ‘just don’t go’ I honestly believe that won’t make a material difference, happy to be proven wrong tho. They have armies of middle class emerging economy citizens throwing commercial revenue at them. Pre season tours and sponsorship are far east based for many clubs, that’s where the money is, not Bob and his son buying shirts every year. Football works perfectly for me, I have never given the broadcasters a dime, I watch iptv. I watch a lot of PL and CL. I never have and never will buy merchandise and refreshments. I have a STH and love going when I’m back in the uk and it’s part of my identity to say I’m a lcfc STH. otherwise there is always a city fan family/friend in my seat. But I also fully support threads like these advocating action, and get aggrieved by the weak minded whingers (not you)
