  1. Millwall 2017 was so much fun. Remember when they invaded the pitch at the end, standing over the barriers in the upper tier gesturing wildly at them as a coin flies mm's past my face at 100mph. They threw all sorts at us that day, saw a bloke so angry, he took his glasses off, smash them up then throw the shards of glass at us. It was a good end as well, seemed every city fan was drunk. Proper fans, no teenage drip tray boys in trackies
  2. F bar was open post match v Rotherham
  3. That’s exactly my point. You could be happy with the rate now but that’s the risk. Whats comfortable now absolutely may not be in 5 years time with the volatility expected in all parts of consumer life. Very naive imo to think you’ll know what’s gonna be affordable to you in 2029, if you’re not shining AIs shoes by then. 2 years offer upside aswell as downside, especially if micro circumstances change, which they probably will.
  4. Will be main event. Chelsea game will be called off as they will beat Middlesbrough and be in the cup final that weekend
  5. Sorry and no offence as I am sure you're a stand up guy but there's not a cats chance in hell I'm giving a Cov away ticket to an unknown person even for £1000, way too risky
  6. Well done, the ADR is a brilliant and easy service. If more of us stood up against these shysters, things may change. But in reality, it's the weak and lazy who don't know their rights/stand up for themselves who subsidise the insanely cheap travel prices for the rest of us. In conclusion, don't tell too many people about your win.....
  7. Can get you one via STH guest sale if you want, believe we've helped each other in the past with home tickets
  8. There's a few back on sale. Run
  9. I agree and love iptv. Just had the darts on. But if the poster has managed to find streams easily this year when there’s only one broadcast provider, and they only need streams for city matches, iptv is prob an unnecessary step for them
  10. If you’ve managed to find streams without iptv this year you’ll be even easier next year in the prem. Wouldn’t worry about iptv unless you want to watch other sports, Netflix, films
  11. Resi 2 year fixes are nearly 6%?!? Fair enough, had no idea
  12. Sorry, you have not missed something, I have!!! Thought you’d quoted the post about a 40th idea Your list is brilliant btw. I did something similar in sept 2021, from initially thinking we were going to Ibiza to my wife saying it’d be easier to do a 3 nights in Northumberland. Good trip but yeh I’m still annoyed about that..
  13. Risky doing anything 5 years long in this environment imo. What’s the split between 5 and 2 years? Worth taking out a 2 year and using the difference in payments to overpay and therefore roll into a lower LTV product in two years time?
  14. From initially thinking Maldives to doing Northumberland in feb would be a helluva surprise for his wife. Assume he won’t be asking us for 41st bday ideas.
  15. Mexico City is fantastic, highly recommend. If not, Costa Rica
  16. Been chuckling today about the post above which says a 9-0 away win won't happen anymore because of VAR in the same season a 8-0 away win did happen, which prompted me to watch the YouTube highlights. How good were Newcastle and how bad were Sheff U that day. Could have been about 20. Insane how much form changes in the PL, Newcastle cannot buy a win right now
  17. Good post, hard to argue with much of that so fair enough. I do not follow NFL but it is interesting what you say about their 'VAR' - what would our version be? Offsides and goals only? So pens and red cards would have to stay with the on field decision? I loved Spurs v Chelsea as well. As I said I like VAR so I am biased, but I cannot believe some of the comments you read here and on social media about VAR 'sanitising the prem' 'the prem is so boring' etc etc. It's akin to those who say Guardiola and Klopp produce boring football. Imagine these people do not watch the prem and go on Facebook for their news. This season has been fantastic thus far.
  18. I have no idea what any of this means. We’re in the midst of one of the most exciting prem seasons in years, upsets every weekend, one of the most chaotic matches for a long time on nyd. If you’re not entertained by this or think it’s mediocre/controlled, you likely aren’t watching the prem this year
  19. Ask him to put this one up for sale!
  20. In the huge minority of having no problem with var. I wish we had it in April 2017 in Madrid. Hugely glad we had it in May 2021 at Wembley. We’ve had some shockers this season, lucky it doesn’t matter
  21. This is brilliant, where did you find it?
  22. Yes but when we were defending champions we were fighting for survival in an incredibly tough league, and playing in the lucrative champions league. Things are very different this season, the FA cup is our only chance of competitive football matches up until next August in the Prem. We have to go as strong as possible and test our playing style IMO.
  23. Exactly, the last time was 10 years ago. People basing their opinion on the league 10 years ago (when btw we got 102 points…) is odd. Not sure about that. It was embarrassingly easy today, played in fourth gear. City had a bit of fun and we’re clearly thinking about a post match beer at 3-0, but imo that’s no positive reflection on Huddersfield.
  24. What are you on about…I can only count 1 away game this season which hasn’t sold out to STH/members. Why should a bingo bus stag group get tickets, when there’s already demand that’s outstripping supply from city fans?
