  1. Sheff wed on general sale from Sunday
  2. worst* grammar like that will see you turfed out at application stage
  3. Sorry on that topic and seeing people's usernames - 'what grinds my gears' is seeing lcfcjosh username everyday rattling around for tickets yet I can't see the people involved in this epic pow-wow.
  4. This is some fantastic forensic interrogation of quotes and not one person calling for a peer-reviewed study in sight, I wish I could see your usernames because this is what a football forum should/could be used for. Can either of you take down the post on the atmosphere thread claiming all matches in the great escape season went to general sale alongside the raft of other falsities? Before you get banned.
  5. Nothing to do with the ticket office in this example, it’s purely people buying for the point
  6. $$$$ in bonuses means he will be motivated
  7. Surprised but guess it makes sense. He has completed f1 by driving for Ferrari, presumably will make a few bob more, has some fun on the Ferrari party/celeb network for a year or two and builds his brand for his post racing career.
  8. Hahah don’t call it out and get it deleted! The post is so bad it deserves to stay online forever as a definition and reference point for ‘fake news baby’
  9. Completely agreed. Apparently this is a tough physical super hard league where we play every 3 days in daunting arenas. Henceforth when you can chill, you chill
  10. My really funny post about brexit voters and those who hate enzo’s style of play being correlated gets deleted but this drivel stays? There’s no justice your honour. In the great escape season, during the days of gold, silver and bronze membership, 3 home games and no away went to general sale. When we went up we had 23k sth’s and a 98% retention rate.
  11. Haha. Could not log onto the website or watch any club related video without the massive advertising banner saying 'GENERAL SALE TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR BIRMINGHAM AND SWANSEA'
  12. Fair enough, yeh if you've got a preferred candidate (again, importance of a good network...) it's always gonna be difficult for others. Good luck next week.
  13. Marseca openly calling out the fans via his post match comments. Probably gone too far now and risking creating an 'us v them' situation which we absolutely do not need and is possibly the biggest threat to our promotion (?) When Klopp did it, it worked fantastically v Arsenal in their next game. That won't work for us. Any scope for UFS and Foxes Trust to get the marketing machine in full whirring mode? Create a wall of promotion before Sheff Wed and Boro on Feb 13/17 to urge fans to stay until the end. If you don't want to back vocally, at least show your appreciation?
  14. That’s the point right, you thinking you fit the criteria? Rather than them? Recruiters are annoying but atleast they’ll tell you what the hiring manager is looking for, including culture wise. Likewise the importance of a strong network.
  15. What’s begun 🤔
  16. IMO not so, 'smart' people can apply themselves to their job or specificity very well. Different ball game when you are expected to win business, keep external relations happy, communicate effectively to the Board/NEDs/investors, solve all HR matters, integrate new systems and processes, lead teams where you have no experience, open a new service/business line, oversee an international service/office, create a network, be responsible for competitor oversight, change culture, define purpose/mission etc etc you get the drift.
  17. Maybe for the majority of uni's, but for the top uni's it's about creating a global network for life and getting job opportunities. £75k depreciated over 50 years of work is nothing, if it even opens a few doors for you. You don't pay £200k to do an MBA at Harvard, you pay it to build your network and be part of the club.
  18. Does location matter for you? Not sure what role you are looking for but unless you are worried about tax implications, as long as you are uk based you can wfh? Unless this is where you tell me your desired job is 100% site based
  19. Financial Services too, job seekers have all the power according to my old network in London. Loads of people getting external offers just to get the counter-offer from their current employer and chill for more money. Loads of jobs, no one wanting to move to the UK it seems.
  20. Hell no, unless I was paid substantially well. The tone of the country set by our leadership is 'take everything you can' so there's not a cat's chance in hell I would go to actual war for them for less than 7 figures
  21. Tv seem to be showing the singing section more during the last two games. Saw @KrefelderFox666 on Monday and @Stadttwice today waving a flag.
  22. Interesting view. The cup win wasn’t nearly as big to me, didn’t go to a single game due to lockdown then missed out on a ticket to the final. Sitting at home watching us lift the cup on tv will prob soon be forgotten. However with the league win living and breathing it every weekend will be memories that will never leave me
  23. Condescending? it's a term used in courts across the world to determine what the reasonable person would behave like. If we're sticking to the general rhetoric that the courts are oh so right and qualified people CANNOT be questioned because the murderer had mental health issues, the man on the clapham omnibus model would be a central part of that.
  24. The opportunity is strikingly clear. The headline reads 'triple killer in broad daylight avoids jail.' Ergo, people will think if I commit a crime I won't got to jail. The detail behind it you talk about is redundant, very few people will go that far. Do you think the man on the clapham omnibus knows there is little difference between a jail and hospital? Of course not. Read most of the literature on here, especially around COP 28 and climate change, it is clear the majority of people do not go beyond headlines and do not understand topics. As they will in this case too.
  25. But they are not going to visit a mental unit lol, that is not realistic and a moot point. Perhaps those who think financial services is all about blood-sucking money merchants should spend a day in my world and realise we work long and hard and are making a co-ordinated and daily difference to future life on this planet. But that's not going to happen so why even posit it as a question? You are confusing the opinions of the bereaved with the justice system. Their opinions matter, the virtue signallers trying to create a brand on a football forum' do not. Neither form the justice system thankfully.
