It was never going to be a calm year. With the obvious geopolitical turmoil happening, multiple wars and a UK and US election. Everybody's micro circumstances will change this year, whether materially or not, they will change. That's why I was amazed at the willingness to take out 5-year mtg's in the other thread because they seem affordable now, maybe a lot of people are more risk-on than I am which is fair enough.

Exactly my point. Very often in life, you just make mistakes. If you don't, you're a liar. To blame making mistakes on your mental health or somebody else is to treat this important issue as frivolous. Humans being humans then blaming being human on their anxiety is not a get out of jail free card for being a human

If you’ve been to any nondescript European beach resort and had a good time, dxb will blow your mind. Clean beaches with decent people, safe, great food and drink. Activities wise, everything imaginable and more. Comparatively it’s not expensive. You have to drop about a grand to go to nothing places like santorini these days

Loved Albania. Tirana is easily doable in a day via the free walking tour. We found a driver for a day trip to the durres (beach resort) and lake orhid in Macedonia. Very cheap

No it is not (I had no idea you could bold text on here, thanks!). How they vote who they bang etc is part of everyday life. Beating your partner is clearly not. We are humans who possess EQ so we can assume when others make remarks like 'I don't care what they do' - that clearly does not encapsulate things like beating up your wife, going on a stabbing spree, being a child groomer or being a forest fan. Thought that wouldn't need to be said out loud but there you go.

On one hand your relentlessly going on about the away points system and asking every few hours for spare tickets to away games on here. And on the other hand, you're telling people not to go to games because of high pricing. So, next away game if it doesn't reach your points level - 'don't go then' Gonna follow your own advice???? You’ve changed your argument to being their employer, rather than colleague, now. Which of course prompts different connotations and scenarios. Different firms have different policies, especially based on how regulated they are. But your original comment of ‘how would you feel if it was someone you worked with’ which we can assume you mean colleague, has been wholly answered here I would think.

Pity. And I most certainly would not be sadistic and twisted enough to want them to be unable to pay their bills for the month because they had a few beers and got carried away at their biggest day out for 10 years.
