  1. it was more to do with value, torino were 6/1 to win and are more than capable of getting a win! gutted I didn't bet on them singles tbh
  2. can't believe Cardiff came back to make it 2-2, gutted
  3. Nice one stan.
  4. Got one of those £5 free skybets so put it on Torino, Girona and Cardiff, £330 returns. Looking at the teams in those fixtures they all look like they could go either way.
  5. As long as we give him the time and resources, we should aiming for Europe within two seasons. Lets not get too far ahead of ourselves, In these games we've had with him we have shown improvements in areas not associated with our recent seasons, keeping the ball. However as shown against Newcastle we still struggle at times with lapses in concentration. We're good; but not as good as people think, its more to do with going a step in the right direction to move this club forward from past seasons and the successes we've had to now evolve from. Sorry if that post seems very Bipolar!
  6. i think we'd have definitely kept him one more season and got 50m+ minimum
  7. if we had never had the release clause, a midfield of n'didi Iborra and Kante would have been breath-taking to watch
  8. simpson is good enough. last 3 seasons hes been one of our better players, consistent 7/10 performances
  9. ah and just thought of Delph whos looking pretty good atm. Perhaps in the long term Chilwell may get a chance but definitely not in the upcoming World cup
  10. That's why a striker like Giroud with his link up may be compatible. Ulloa and Vardy used to link up well in the season we stayed up, so clearly Vardy isn't the one who's at fault. Giroud to replace Slim could mean he either starts with vardy, starts alone or starts on the bench, all I'm saying is he'd be a great upgrade on slim and could add a different dimension to our play if he were to sign, which btw I don't think is something crazy to think about as some people seem to be suggesting.
  11. No one else worth mentioning I think, if he keeps playing how he is now and improving he may start for us after this tournament.
  12. I don't think he'd play second fiddle, he may even start over him but I was thinking he could be more of a good option to play next to Vardy. He's an upgrade on Slim, which is something we should be aiming for, IF Slim was to actually leave anyways.
  13. or play two 9's, I don't think Giroud is good from deep, better to hold up the ball and link up if hes played as a 9, doesn't mean vardy has to accommodate him by playing on the wing or as a 10. He wouldn't warm our bench, he's a quality player.
  14. Well he's not a no.10, i'd either play him next to Vardy or alone, you need different kind of players for different games. I think rotation of Vardy maybe something to consider for the future, having multiple strikers for rotation will be key to seeing Vardy still playing to a high quality in the future. But look, I just think he'd be a great upgrade on Slim; if hypothetically he were to leave. I'd sign him in hope he'd give Vardy some true competition, which lets be honest Slim doesn't seem to be doing for one reason or another.
  15. End of the season, we haven't held onto him this long for him to just leave us half way through a season
  16. But the game time he gets isn't nearly enough for a player of his quality, and I was thinking to put him in goal obviously
  17. if he gets another 4 goals/assists in the run in till the new year i'd expect plenty of champions league clubs will be in for him
  18. We're a good team. Giroud's link up play is in a different league to Slim's and he's a far better player.
  19. Kasper Simpson Morgan Maguire Chilwell N'didi Iborra Mahrez Okazaki Albrighton Vardy bring on Gray second half
  20. Surely Chilwell will get an England Cap in the next year?
  21. If we sell him, I hope its not to a premier league rival. Although I think we already have plenty of strikers, I'd sign Giroud to replace him, while hopefully getting rid of Musa and Ulloa.
  22. the way some people speak about him on here you'd think the opposite
  23. Okazaki to start for me.
  24. He is one of the best players in this league, I hope we don't find that out on the receiving end one day
  25. 100/1 for Raheem sterling golden boot at wc with skybet, if and its a big if; he continues this form, could look like stupidly big odds come june
