Turn that on its head. How can you support the board? Support them in making a good managerial appointment. Everybody sees that Ruud has totally underwhelmed of that there should be no debate, but shipping out Ruud, can you have anything beyond hope that the board would select a good replacement? Their recent record has not been encouraging.

And anyone who lets the current board select his replacement should seek professional help.

Understand, but Brendan and even Enzo were prior to our current aimless managerial recruitment. Maybe the current regime have learnt, but not sure where such a lesson would have done from tbh. Think Ruud will be gone in the Summer, but as it stands, how can anyone have any confidence in the replacement?

We got crap twice, and people are fine to have more crap as long as it is a different flavour of crap. The rot is above Ruud, and this in no way supports him, it just recognises that the problem does not start and stop with Ruud. Change for changes sake is for the birds, we need meaningful at all levels..

But the people that employed him would still be in charge of the next manager, giving Ruud the boot is insufficient in my opinion

So our intentional fiscal irresponsibility, coupled with shocking scouting, should not be punished, but the prudent approach of those other clubs should be ridiculed? Indifferent to what those monied clubs do, they are unfairly biased toward by design, but plenty of clubs stayed in this league during the FFP changed and did not fall foul of the changes. This is our club, but lack of credit where lack of credit is due.

I am not sure that you can good conscience tbh. Yes the league is blocking other clubs from reaching the levels of the big 6, or whatever awful term we may choose to use, but to suggest they are preventing us from operating in a more frugal and cunning manner is just not true.

So you would prefer the hierarchy that brought us Cooper, then Ruud, be given one more shot, as they are bound to get it right this time - right? Your point of view is just reactionary, now we need thought and a plan, and we won’t get it inside the current structure. No debate he is piss poor, just little point in changing without better people deciding for who.

I do not see the point in sacking him if there is no change in the board level structure of the club.
