Wow, some very negative thoughts on here. He's playing in a team with some players who dont give a f*** and people expect him to change games on his own. I agree he can be frustrating, but changes in formations and tactics adapting to the dire situation the clubs in doesnt make him despisasable. Very harsh! 3 years ago in a confident team challenging for Europe, people were saying he should play for england. This is his best goalscoring season to date. And yes, he should've had more but some comments are embarrassing.

Tbf, we rode our luck more than ive ever seen or known, but we had 1 attempt and had it gone in, we'd all be ecstatic, as it is, people are complaining about the game plan because it didnt go in. I genuinely had fears of us being 3 nil down by 20m into the game. It was very much a case of back to extreme basics, and yes it was a horrific watch. But, would you rather we went for it and been torn apart like most games this season or at the very least, played the occasion a bit smarter and still have a chance. I was frustrated watching it, almost broke my back contorting when that chance came our way, unfortunately it fell to our right back. It is what it is. Yes it was a must win, so have the last 4 or 5 games been, and yes we got torn to shreds, but that result gives us a lot more hope than I thought we'd have given the form and complete lack of confidence. It was more of a DO NOT LOSE THIS GAME, than it was must win because, we have more of a chance now than we did. Ppl might not like it or want to accept it, but that is the situation. If we do manage to stay in the league, that will be considered the most valuable point we've earned in years, no ifs or buts. We'll only know after sundays game how impactful that result is. Not looking forward to Sunday one bit at all mind you 😂😬😔

First half, bossed it, got tp take your chances though. Second half, they made a tactical tweak at half time and onve the 2nd goal went in it was damage limitation unfortunately. Overall on reflection not too disheartened tbh, but the officiating will always be for the money clubs. Ian was really poor today but he'll know that and it's onto the next game.

Consistency comes with game time...which he hasn't had...not starting anyway...the only game I remember him starting up front he scored 2 at Everton in the cup...not saying start him over vardy that would be ridiculous 10 minute cameos on the wing were never guna see what he can bring to the table...

Footballers get written off far too early by people. I remember vardy after about 8 games in the championship and people saying he's shit and not going to make it....I love it when footballers get ridiculed and prove people wrong

I've always said a team should try not using a wall and just have two players to charge down the ball...from 25 yards out or more but for people to slag him off is a joke...worth his weight in gold in the dressing room and on the pitch!
