  1. Just a bit of a nothing player so far, doesn't really do anything that wrong or bring much to a game, hopefully a better manager can unlock something.
  2. This was part of the reason I was really off him from the start, the first thing he did was tell the players they were rubbish, something along the lines of well done but you aren't good enough, I understand premier league football better than you and I can save you. Don't think that went down well considering the players think they know more about football than him. Not long to go now, they can't sack him off the back of a loss to chelsea when we are still out of the relegation zone. But it's creeping closer.
  3. Because the press etc. will say its unfair & I don't believe the board have the bollocks to do it when they know the wider football world will condem it. I hope I'm wrong but we've seen what Top is like, too nice.
  4. Standard stuff from cooper. It will be dressed up as it was chelsea and we didn't get battered. But we were never really in it, enzo ball stopped it being a battering, which oddly we could of nicked something but coopers in ability to impact a game continues. Not long to go for Cooper though, might aswell get on with it and sack him personally, but I expect we need to be even worse than this before we act.
  5. I wish, but I can't see it yet. It will be dressed up as its chelsea and we didn't get battered. They won't look at the ongoing ridiculous performances or complete disregard of any tactics. However it's not far away now. When we lose to someone not "top 6" it's done for him.
  6. That's a penalty if that's on Palmer at Stamford bridge. No doubt it my mind.
  7. Game was there, regardless whether we deserved something, but he carried on setting us up in such a negative way. Can't stand cooper at all, horrific manager. And now it's 2-0 we will start to go for it as is the cooper way when the game is done and hope.
  8. The game is drifting a bit here. Reminds me of the games we messed up under Enzo. Think it's there for us if cooper can impact the game, get some subs on you fool!
  9. Bilal is everything atm, he's always looking for lovely little inside passes. Hes been impressive in an absolutely dreadful team performance
  10. 100% the atmosphere in the ground is just awful, everyone's given up and just waiting for the inevitable
  11. I dont understand how we can set up so so defensively, but at the same time every chelsea player has so much time to turn, we are stood off them, it's just horrific.
  12. I know its chelsea, but we are at home and have set up like Tranmere away at chelsea in the cup, infact I think Tranmere would at least try and offer something.
  13. The back 7 was predictable, that's an interesting choice of Mcateer considering what's fit on the bench. Hes either worked on something and has a plan.....I know, I know....or hes just taking a guess....
  14. I will caveat this by saying I think cooper is a dreadful manager at this level and it's only going to end one way, but I will say the players are fighting to the end and not giving in, he certainly deserves some credit for that, we've probably both seen teams that were tactically limited and couldn't be arsed.
  15. You don't pal, they were the luckiest team I've ever seen last season, it was almost every week!
  16. It's not going to happen. I bet he gets the next 3, united, chelsea and brentford, if all 3 are losses then I think it might be enough.
  17. Agreed also what else was there, they were the most attacking players we could chuck on chasing the game against 10. That's not tactical genius, just absolute basics and hope.
  18. He named a bench of defence players
  19. Apparently playing out tired football platitudes of give him time and just believing harder isn't working. Who knew
  20. Just so so predictable
  21. We are a poorly coached team, trying to play a brand of football that the players want, but the manager doesn't play. He was already a bad in game manager, not sure how he changes things when the tactics aren't even his. They are fully there for the taking aswell, talent wise they are poor but at least they have a system that's drilled into them.
  22. 3 yellow cards, on a touchline ban
  23. Glad vestergaard is back...queue him having a shocker haha Hope we aren't chasing the game that bench is very defensive!
  24. The one thing I felt he had was the players were working hard for him despite the horrific "tactics", but as soon as that drops we were going to be bang in trouble and after back to back hammerings where both forest and United were unlucky not to score more it will be interesting to see how we respond. It will be very interesting to see if we continue in the "enzo style" or not he reverted right back to that awful lob sided high wingback disaster last night and got the tanking playing like that deserves. I hope we continue to try and play like we did first half against forest, I believe success can be found if we persist. But I echo your thoughts on this being chaos, every cooper game is disorganised chaos where as Ipswich is more organised chaos, as mentioned the advantage I think they will have over us is their players are still 100% with mckenna, I think the players faith in cooper is fading. Hopefully we find a way to win 🙏 Just as a minor point Ben Johnson the Ipswich right back is a west ham youth player they signed on a free in the summer, solid player lots of prem experience 👍
  25. Yes I think last season felt less stale because of Enzo, regardless of whether you liked or loathed the football, he very openly called out the board for not being serious, and was clearly trying to push for a higher standard behind the scenes and now we have a guy who can't believe his luck that he's a premier league manager, shouldn't be anywhere near this level, he certainly won't be challenging the board. I think we all know where this is heading with cooper, I personally believe there is no point in persisting with it, but I do get the dilemma of not being in the bottom 3 and with a stale board in place it's very unlikely they act, but its just delaying the inevitable, whoever does come in to try and save the season whenever that is we need someone that will demand a better standard all round, not just someone who is just happy to have a job.
