He was poor tonight, he looked exactly what he is a 16 year old, in a poorly coached side. Better days ahead from him 👍
-
Insert "he cant keep getting away with this" meme. Stealing a living and stole this game.
-
Outrageously bad. Should of been removed weeks if not months ago. Its the same performance again. No awareness. No running. No press. He just sends 11 out there and says fingers crossed lads you find a way. Hes an absolute fraud of a manager, one of these that might of been ok 20 years ago when this style of football was in, but its being blown away in the modern game. Clinging on with the individual talent we have just managing to find the odd moment of brilliance. He will get us relegated, its nailed on, I dont believe there is anyone who could be worse than this. He cant even motivate them to run. Urgh just awful.
-
Down to the manager. If you let them get away with it they will.
-
Once again we are playing at best in 3rd gear some of the time. Players walking, no talking, no awareness. This is down to a soft manager allowing a team of mercenaries to just wing it.
-
Hell of a hill to die on. Hopefully the lads can hear you from it! If it helps sky have repeatedly mentioned the boycott and how effective its been.
-
Bloody hell the "true" fans are booing. Why arent they backing the lads!? In their defense this is utterly dreadful again, we are so poorly coached its embarrassing.
-
Crikey thats some boycott and its completely silent minus the west brom fans. The atmosphere the "true" fans are creating is electric

For what its worth, a close friend of mine doesn't fully see it the way most on here do (theyve been a season ticket holder for over 20 years) Whilst they are definitely slowly getting there with some of it, for instance they finally turned on Rudkin last season. Their counter was that, they have shown over the years that they do care, citing things like the training ground and general investment over the years and they cant have just suddenly become "a mike ashley or a chansiri" I have previously used the caring isn't competence line to meet in the middle, as for a period of the decline I am sure they did care, but they are just such a bunch of clowns they couldnt fix it. This season for me personally has shown that I am not convinced they care at all any more, its just way down the pecking order of things behind a crumbling financial empire and polo. Especially now large sections of the fans are speaking out about them, I genuinely think theres an air of "how dare they, well **** em" about it tbh. Unfortunately for some that period from promotion chasing, to the title and the European trips with brendan has just given them so so much in the bank, its like the leicester equivalent of sir alex at United, untouchable. Its going to take a long period of sustained misery for them to click unfortunately.

I know the issues run deeper than him. But this league is awful, he is woefully unperforming, its hard to think that anyone could be doing any worse regardless of all the other negative circumstances around the club. Hes so soft and meek you can see it transfer to the players. We play every game between 5th and 3rd gear and are completely reliant on some individual brilliance to see us through games. Weve had some bad managers but even cooper and ruud who were both terrible, had more about then than this guy. Genuinely might be the worst I can remember since the Holloway days.

I think the final straw was all the absolutely bonkers decisions after Enzo left. I remember thinking the last hope for this club has gone because those 2 absolute clowns in charge cant get lucky again. I havent been to a game for about year now. Ive stopped watching 90% of them. There is nothing about this club to be proud about, I feel nothing but shame and anger towards it. From the dodgy sponsors and general dictatorship in the hierarchy down to the toxic players who have failed over and over and over again but still get a free pass by every manager. I will keep checking the scores and hope for something better, but until there are major changes. Im out, fair play to any of you that can stick around and watch this happen to something you love, because I cant

Spot on. Hes may have been dealt a bad hand, but its been embarrassingly bad. Hes got to go but there is an air of what's the point.
-
Until this happens, dont expect anything to get better.
-
I would be very surprised, we are only 2 points off the play offs (which tells you how rubbish this league is) given how much time it took for us to sack RVN etc. Will only be hard-core fan and player pressure like there was on Cooper, which hasn't come yet. Hes certainly in the hot seat though, hes not going to be allowed any more mistakes.

I'm with you here. Never thought I'd get to this point with this club, I have gone from die hard home and away to not even watching the last 3 games, check the results roll my eyes and get on with my day. Obviously I still care or I wouldn't even be checking in, I am sure some of its just getting older, but I would say 80%+ is just how the club is being run into the ground and I just cant do it to myself anymore. I doubt I will ever get back to home and away every week levels, but I hope the club can give me something to be proud of again in the future. -
The "we used to be in league one" crowd are reaping what they sow. This has been coming for a while, the only positive I can hope for is they might start to wake up and think this isn't acceptable? Probably not though.

All on Cifuentes tonight. Whether you are in or out on him, its undeniable hes struggling and looks out of his depth. That starting 11 with Daka, Ayew and Soumare was a disaster waiting to happen. Chasing 2 goals at half time you decide to leave Ayew up top on his own despite multiple games that have shown you it doesn't work. You take JJ off and leaving Soumare who has never scored on. Even the chances and goal were screamers, our entire offensive play seems to be hope for someone to score a beauty, we never get in behind, one on one. I fully appreciate hes had a bad hand and the problems continue to be above him, but cant dress 2 points from Wrexham, Portsmouth and Hull as anything other than shambolic
-
Hmmm, ive been patient with him, think hes been dealt a bad hand. But this squad is better than home draws to Wrexham, Portsmouth and 2-0 down at Hull. I think hes got 45 minutes to save his job here. Dont think he will get sacked after but the writings on the wall for me, its not working, something isn't right.

We quite simply do not have a striker. We all said it will be the difference maker for us as we are solid enough as a core. Carranza isn't it, we didnt do a good enough job finding one. We might get lucky as this league is awful, but so are we going forward outside of fatawu doing it all for us.

8 months to go.

WBA (a) 1-1 Leicester Post Match thread

Exactly the same as Coventry for me, we are organised, look solid when Faes isn't having one of his moments. Which has to be seen as a positive. But 2 games back to back we look absolutely toothless going forward, never really created a clear cut chance. Ayew absolutely kills us going forward. We simply have to get better in the final 3rd by some distance. Still early so there is alot of time for us to evolve and get better, but certainly a red flag to repeat the same mistakes 2 games in a row. -
Same as Cov really. Better side, playing nice football, bar faes doing his thing and costing us another goal, we look solid. But we simply will not score goals with Ayew up front, its very obvious he isn't a striker.
-
Faes having one of those days he has every single time he plays haha
-
Thought we were the better side by some distance. We just dont have a striker, Ayew for all his hardworking just isn't a striker and is killing us going forward. Our season in terms of promotion will lean on carranza being something I think. The pros for me is we are well organised and solid, which is a big step considering a year of chaos with largely the same bunch.

The simple solution is work together on creating an area exclusively for things like this and make it clear to fans in the area this is happening and you can move your seat if you want. Diluting the atmosphere because a handful of people want to see players walk on to a pitch, which is bizarre in itself. The club seem to forget that its a sporting event, not a cinema.
