Arsene WENGER ............PLEASE!!!! -
Yes the player not the shirt!

Quite simply the most reliable consistent player in the team over the last 3-4 years , the fact that players such as Livermore, Barclay, the permanently injured Wilshire and others who should be nowhere near the England squad are picked in front of him is nothing short of disgraceful. The only possible explanation is that he is regarded as "Unfashionable" whatever that means...........super servant to our club but sadly will probably never get the cap he so richly deserves.

Can`t say I like criticising any City player and I hate the "Boo boys" getting hold of one particular player, which, sadly looks like James at the minute. However we all have our own opinions and mine would certainly be for Fuchs. Hope I`m wrong but can see Chilwell being another Shlupp...the odd good game but in your heart you know he`s never going to be the real deal, a real trier but not good defensively ..........so Christian for me.

Unfortunately !!!!. England...win again?....I B*****Y HOPE SO!

What a brilliant article, you just spoke for millions of ordinary people who are having our game taken away from us...brilliant! -
Well done Matty, a good solid dependable trier with no little skill either.Injury took away his chance to be a City great but one to be remembered and respected none the less for that.

Man City v THE City scoreline prediction thread
Gordon the Great replied to a topic in Leicester City Forum
Everyone expects us to get beat but after many years experience of watching City,(The only City of course) this is how it will pan out. We will take a surprise lead from an unexpected source, Silva or Simpson or something daft. They will throw the kitchen sink at us, great saves, close shaves, and the odd hitting of the woodwork. Then in about the 80th minute they will score from a mistake by a City player, who, up to then has had his best game for city ever. We will hold out valiantly in a mad scramble until the last minute of injury time which for no logical reason has been extended to 8 minutes.yes 8 minutes!.....then they will get a goal that is 15 yards off-side, or the luckiest deflection ever seen, or the stupidest penalty for hand ball blasted at a City player from 6" away......or the biggest cheat dive by Sterling that you have ever seen......and boy we`ve seen some of those haven`t we! A valiant defeat in the face of massive adversity and the M.O.T.D. pundits will only talk about how we might have got a draw if Mr Mahrez had turned up. From many years of experience that`s how it will be......so to answer the question a hard fought, valiant, backs to the wall honourable defeat..................BLOODY CHEATED!! -
Should Riyad Mahrez play for the club again?
Gordon the Great replied to Tuna's topic in Leicester City Forum
This post is right, we don`t want any of those stupid principles, morals ethics or decency on here! -
Will Mahrez go for 100 million.
Gordon the Great replied to waylander's topic in Leicester City Forum
Watched City for 58 years, Mahrez is a wonderful player,as skillful as any I have seen and that includes the fantastic Frankie Wortho but as far as heart and effort go I know which one I would choose between the two. It is evident that Riyad thinks his future is elsewhere and the situation will get more & more disruptive as time goes on. I am not sure he will shine from the bench of another team, whoever that may be, therefore there is a possibility that we have seen the best of him.He has obviously had his head turned on several occasions. he wants ,what he perceives, to play for a "Bigger" club.We , I believe, are at a point where we have up & coming players that will come into the team and really want to play for US.............so thank you Riyad, you were Great, no animosity, no vindictive rubbish, but thanks very much and wish you well in your new venture........Time to go. -
Happy Birthday to simply the Greatest Goalkeeper the world has, or ever will see. Have to laugh at Stokes attempts to make him a Stoke legend.......simple facts are.......he played more games for City than he did for Stoke, he won more England caps playing for City than he did for Stoke AND he won the World Cup whilst playing for City.NOT Stoke! Guess that makes him a City LEGEND...........NOT Stoke`s.......a poor attempt at Glory by false association.......me thinks!

Best non family day of my life! In 2013 my mates picked me up for a mystery evening out.went to a pub in Rutland , thought I was being set up for a bit of pole dancing or something!.and I have to say I had some trepidation cause I`m 6ft 5" ,18 stone and not very good at it to be honest! Standing at the bar and said "C`mon lads whats the crack?".then my mate replied"We brought you over to have a meal with that bloke behind you" When I looked round to see....the Greatest, the world`s all time ever indisputable GREATEST goalkeeper that ever lived.the incomparable..SIR GORDON BANKS...He will always be a Sir to me. I was 60 at the time and immediately reverted to the 5 year old boy that used to sit on the top of the toilet wall behind the goal at the Filbert Street end.Never used to watch the match just watched Gordon for 90 minutes,I idolised him and still do! I remember my brother saying that he had made a mistake to give a goal away...a mistake!..Gordon!.Ridiculous....so I punched him!!.my brother that is! Well we had the meal with him and I was so starstruck I had difficulty with my worms.words (Sorry)..they say you should never meet your heroes.well I met mine and he was Fantastic. My Grandson is 8 years old and plays in goal for the school team, he watches you tube and says he wants to as good as Gordon, I tell him to settle for the 2nd best the world has ever seen........because NO ONE will ever be better than the GREATEST.

Obviously some of this depends on the age of the member posting, I have seen some very good players in the City shirt.......and some not so good!..but I just had to register to make sure one of the greatest ever is recognised and that player is the wonderful Davie Gibson....an absolute artist with a football. I remember going to Middlesborough in 1963 and at half time Davie came out 5 minutes early for the second half and he flicked the ball onto the back of his head & walked round & round the centre circle doing "keepy uppy"........even the Boro fans were applauding. He has to be in there with Kante,Mcallister,Drinky, and Jon Sammels........there are of course others to be mentioned but Davie HAS to be in there!
