  1. Not quite sure he could steal that title from the odious Mr Vaz!
  2. I can assure you that he won't be missed, not if he crosses the road in front of me anyway!🤣
  3. Tomorrow's chip paper.
  4. Anyone but Wales , Scotland or France.
  5. Brilliant, brilliant post.
  6. There is one thing for sure, there will be no referendum on the matter because everyone knows what the outcome would be. Really sorry but don`t do the bleeding hearts bit. Scum such as Pitchfork have forfeited the right to life by stealing somebody else's.............Rope.
  7. Utterly, completely and totally CORRECT...........end thread.
  8. Agreed, get rid of it it`s cr*p and sucking the life blood of immediate excitement from the game
  9. Remember that very well, the Friday night before the Final.Talk about tempting Fate! How did the powers that be at the club allow that to happen? However Great respects to a real class solid professional, a real legend from one of the best City sides ever assembled. Also paying respects to Colin`s brother Dave, an Oadby Town and senior league stalwart who also sadly left us 7 or 8 weeks ago...both a very sad loss to Leicestershire football.
  10. If they can`t win this one with a mid term government, the sentiment vote for Jo Cox`s sister and the Cummings back stabbings they really are in trouble, Big trouble.
  11. You may need to get used to it, I fancy Boris may well outdo Maggie's 11 years.
  12. It gives "Johnny Foreigner" the chance to vent his frustration every year. Must be better than invading your neighbours every 25 years or so!!
  13. Totally agree with the first paragraph, still hate VAR
  14. To all City fans of a certain age, this is the pinnacle. My Dad took me to my first game in 1959 and I have ridden the wave ever since. Sat on his knee and watched the tears roll down his cheek in 1961(Never mind Son, we`ll win it next year). Sat with him again in 1963 when he had the chance of a ticket but didn't take it because he couldn't get one for my brother and I.Cue a hint of a tear and (Never mind Son............) I969.....my brother draws a ticket out of the ballot, Dad and I don`t. A ticket appears which he told me had come from a second ballot ? and he was unable to go. Guess who went. Found out later he had bought that ticket and that it had cost him about a third of his weeks wages. For a bloke with 5 school age kids that, I know, was a massive sacrifice supported by my mam. Sat on the Wembley steps after the game and sobbed my socks off. On arriving home (Never mind Son..............). So today my heart is with those fabulous parents who sadly are no longer with us, Dad in 2011, Mam last July. But today, especially when Abide with me is played they will both be sitting with me, that`s for sure. My brother drew a ticket in the ballot and will be at Wembley today, I don`t think there is a "second ballot" this time but I will surely be with him every kick of the ball. This is really what the F.A. Cup final means to me. So for my parents and massive City fans who have left us in the 52 years since our last try, Tom Beet, Ron Beet, and Mac Reeves I hope and pray that this time it`s our turn but , if not, ......Never mind Son, there's always next year.................
  15. Sadly not our real colours, would like the real badge back too. But then again I have been watching City for 62 years and I like them to look like Leicester City not some false nod to commercialism. For me the 1961 Final kit is the ultimate and proper kit. I also think the Maroon kit is Great......................would look the Dog`s .bo%*&"s.....with WHITE shorts!!
  16. White shorts please.
  17. Absolutely agree but as one of the best crossers of the ball in the league his radar was off line tonight.
  18. but more than enough it seems.
  19. Shame he`s too late for Clare Rayner, sounds like he could do with an Agony Aunt!!
  20. Interesting theory but the older people get, the more Conservative they vote.
  21. Now that is what I call a joke! Really tickled me!
