Probably best to agree to differ at this point then.
-
whether you like them or not, agree with them, or not ,all achieved their goals, mostly against the odds so I would say they are winners in their chosen fields, wouldn`t you.
-
Must be doing something right, they are all winners!

Champions of England 5 years on.

Sadly my Dad who had supported City since before the war left us before the miracle, he used to say, every year "Never mind Son, there`s always next year" but he meant the Cup, knowing the league was impossible AND would always be so. I like to think he will be with me on Cup Final day and make it happen but then again the bugger never told me the 5,000/1 was about to happen and he must have known!! -
Yes, some of them will surely be City Greats, and several of them are pretty close now, but to be in such illustrious company needs a couple or three seasons yet. I was lucky enough to see all the players I mentioned. Please don`t think I am denigrating any of our current team but in my opinion we really do have only about 10 players who are true club legends and it takes something special, over a period of time, to join that group

Correct , except 1 & 2 are the wrong way round.

Quite simply, put in the nicest way possible....You must be effin joking!! Gordon is without doubt the Greatest City player ever. England`s only ever world cup winning Goalkeeper and universally acknowledged as the greatest Goalkeeper of all time....anywhere .ever. We have some fantastic players playing today but really only Vardy would make the best top 10 . We are currently blessed with a wonderful team and some will go on to be world class but to mention them in the same class as Wortho, Weller and company is just plain wrong. That, your worship is the case for the prosecution!

I`m sure they are numbered, to about 2000 plus whilst Mr Starmer is the opposition I would guess.

When that illustrious day happens I don`t know who you will be supporting but it won`t be Leicester City!! I`ve been watching them for 62 years and I'm telling you it does NOT get any easier!!! -
On the nail!!

No we are English, we don`t need to shout about who we are. The whole world knows what this tiny island has given to the world. We don`t need false plastic patriotism, silly hats and flags .We have no call to prove who we are, Our wonderful history does that for us. There is no nation on earth that has contributed more than we have. Sit back, keep quiet in an English way and enjoy your heritage. it`s more than enough.

69 Final, aged 14 .Mam sewed my 12/6d ticket (62 1/2p) into my inside pocket of my school blazer ( I knew how to dress for a trip to London!) Sat on the steps outside afterwards and sobbed my heart out. Had to wait for the 7.30pm train home, all my mates had gone on the earlier train. I met a young lad wearing a Chelsea scarf (?) and we sat and had a hot dog together at Wembley tube. I well remember him saying, in his London accent "Never mind mate next time you`ll win it" Wonder if he`s still around?.......wonder if he might be right!

Maradona could not touch him, not as a footballer and certainly not as a person. The drug adict midget couldn't lace his boots. -
Just totally brilliantly put, right on the nose.

Why anyone acknowledges or gives airtime to these nobody life failures is truly beyond me.
-
Petulant, ungrateful, childish, greedy to**er, and by his attitude I believe has removed himself from the adoration most City fans have for the immortals of 15/16, certainly I personally was glad to see him gone. Give me Marc Albrighton every time, half the player, TWICE the man.
-
And then when you`ve shown them, the Crafty old officer will say "Good luck" in English and you , without thinking, will reply "Thank you" and then........You vill be back to stalag Luft III Swinehund !!

LCFC 0-2 Man City - Post-Match Thread

Move on by all means but we are currently 3rd in the league and playing at home, I would sooner have had a go at them and possibly lost by one more. Bad attitude. -
