  1. Listened earlier and Ric was absolutely spot on about fan consultation and fan correspondence for years. I've been banging on about it for ages and there's such a passive outlook from the fans in general. I don't even know what the answer is. The problem is we moan about things like price rises for about 2 weeks and then nothing gets done. They're almost laughing at us now with the trust being as bad as it is and there being no genuine pushback.
  2. Oh god no. I'm very pro Cooper. Unlike most of these flask drinkers
  3. Thinking he'll get the England job is arrogant
  4. Potter seems to have Brendan levels of arrogance. He'll probably end up at Celtic after England choose someone else.
  5. For now 😂
  6. You can see from what Stoke and a few other clubs are doing that everyone's being told to make a more simplistic design. It would be classic from Whelan and the gang to further alienate themselves from the fanbase.
  7. Sorry Guillem
  8. A flying start? Coventry should have beat us, Rotherham looked comfortable most the game, Cardiff missed a shed load of chances, I could go on. We were so lucky to get that start. We achieved it through sheer quality of the players. Maresca won't last 6 months at Chelsea. He got away with one big time last season.
  9. Well aware that we just got over the line. Anyone who watched ever game last season and believes it was down to Enzo's tactics needs to give their head a wobble.
  10. I'm a really big fan of Cooper and always have been. I hated our football under Enzo and think the whole philosophy is flawed and fraudulent. So I won't be moaning about us not carrying it on. I don't know why someone who's got one of the best ever championship promotions and a youth world cup was wanted less than someone like Corberan? There's going to be so many failed managers who get numerous jobs just because they're trying to badly replicate Pep ball. Already seen Kompany get a job he shouldn't. I wonder if to some people Cooper's stock would have been higher if we'd got him straight from Swansea when he'd achieved nothing but played nice football.
  11. I don't remember one player in all the years Rudkin has been here talk about their positive relationship with him.
  12. Honestly, I know it's been touched on, but do some of you realise how much it projects about yourselves to constantly go on about appearance? There's not one person that's happy about how they look themselves that would go on so much about how someone else looked so negatively. It's actually embarrassing to read.
  13. That's probably the most used sentence in Seagrave for the past 3 years
  14. I seen someone genuinely trying to sell a Canero shirt on there once. The mind boggles.
  15. I don't think you could be any more wrong to be honest. None of those managers could win the world cup at youth level. Bassett just dined out on his Wimbledon days forever. Adams didn't go too badly though did it.
  16. Ranieri was very very low down on a list. We know of Hiddink, Martin O'Neill and even Sam Allardyce being offered it then. Ranieri's stock wasn't exactly high after losing to the Faroe Islands.
  17. I'm glad Enzo's gone. I like Cooper. I'm as inflated as a bouncy castle on party day.
  18. That won't happen though will it. First time I've seen Casadei and Doyle described as hot talent on here too. Be generous if you found 2 decent performances from either all season.
  19. Thank you. This absolutely sums it up. We spent the first 10 awful games being told they'd be "another gear". What happened to that? It wasn't enjoyable. We weren't winning because of Enzo's amazing philosophy and I'm glad we don't have a new manager who subscribes to something that is killing football.
  20. I think Top tried to sell the club a couple of years ago and struggled. I don't doubt if we do by some amazing turn of fortune manage to stay up for a year or two then he will sell up very quickly.
  21. Shouldn't that be known quite early on though? If feels to me more down to Potter not genuinely wanting it but probably getting some ludicrously big contract offer to nearly sway him.
  22. It would indicate a continuation of the "vision", you're right. But not many were enjoying that vision. I wouldn't be so sure that Cooper wouldn't continue this if we are in a better position in the future. Right now, it needs pragmatism. Something I certainly didn't see from Enzo. He looked happier being pounded by Chelsea 4-2 than he did beating Southampton 5-0. I certainly don't think Potter would have been much better in that regard. I feel more hopeful with Cooper than either of them. I think if they want to continue the boring possession based football there is time for that in the future.
  23. I think the novelty wore off the last supposed tactical genius when he managed three 1-0 away defeats to absolute shite, refusing to change a single tactic.
  24. There's a strange mentality amongst some to defend the indefensible to the point I've wondered if there's club stooges planted on here to be honest. If the bus full of Thai influencers didn't tell everyone what Top really cares about then not much else will. I'm sure none of them will struggle to get in to a match for free next season.
  25. Is this a turn of phrase or were you actually sat on same bus as him when you typed that?
