He seems better than VK.

Just on loan?

Very one dimensional way of looking at things. I agree with the other posts that he was one of a few shining lights last season. He was one of the few who always chased and not dropped his head despite the team losing. His low goal involvement stats simply reflected that the whole team especially under RVN could not even score for a long time. He did his part but not others. Considering he was only 20 and a new foreign player to the EPL, he adapted fantastically well. Another year in it in a better team he would be much talked about. Now that he is gone he is going to be a player that we would regret losing in a few seasons time when he excels somewhere. Just like Lookman.

He has talents and skills already which many others can’t train to get. Top player and only 20/21. Tracks back too. Big potential. 40m is a minimum. We have seen more for players with less potential.
-
I have to say I like Jakub Stolarczyk more and he is doing well for us too. Their shot stopping skills are about the same but his distribution is much better.
-
This is his third year at the club. Must get him to sign an extension soon before we get into any tricky contract extension talks later when his stock would have risen and offers come in. Lock him in for more flexibility - retain or sell at higher value. Rudkin - short term as always - may only focus on his current wage bill and lose the big picture, as he did since a few years ago starting with the Tielemans saga where he finally walked for free and which started the club’s financial free fall.

Kasey McAteer sold to Ipswich - Official
Tom12345 replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
We used to buy low and sell high. We used to develop our youngsters and sell them at their highest. Now we are lucky to recover fees paid and transaction costs. As for youngsters, we are so desperate we don’t even let them blossom a bit and get some of the fruits first before selling them on the cheap. With McAteer, he is probably fair value but still has some upward potential at such a young age. With Bilal, 32m is such a low fee for such a young talented player. He could well be worth 50-60 for his next move. On the other hand we keep some overpriced players for far too long. -
Preston are doing well so far. Iversen has been a rock for them. Beaten us already and just beaten Ipswich.
-
A very average player. Can’t pass and no creativity.

Paid for season pass but video not working. Anyone else?

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
Tom12345 replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
Still only 21 and his stock must continue to rise given his obvious talents, despite being in the Championship. He is on low wages for someone of his ability. Must look long term and keep! He will surely be a 50m+ asset later. -
Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

What vendetta by the Premier League and EFL. We have already suffered the consequences multiple times as a result of trying to get ourselves to be competitive. They punished us for trying to break into the exclusive club. We basically stopped spending much 22/23, got relegated and sold more than we spent for 23/24, and then after we got back into the EPL with our hands tied financially 24/25, we are relegated again. We obviously tried to rectify for 3 seasons and paid the consequences. What did they want? Firesale all players and get maybe even less and then go into bankruptcy? These rules and the vendetta by the PL are insane! -
Thank you. Legend. Vardy.

Not going to miss Ndidi when he leaves end of the season. Someone else can try to teach him ball control and basic passing.
-
Why did RVN drop Bounanuette when he came in? If RVN kept Bounanuette in the first team more we would have had more points.
-
Sadly can’t disagree with you much.

I don’t think it is entirely Rudkin’s fault, but to me our downfall in terms of squad management started with us not selling Tielemans and allowed him to run his contract down. That started a trend and broke from our policy of selling players for a profit. In fairness, it was an attempt by the club to gamble for higher achievements and keep the squad together. But that started a trend of players becoming bigger than the club and letting deadwood remain in the club. The other key decision that started our overall downfall was keeping Rodgers for far too long. Still can’t believe how far we have fallen in a short space of time. 4 years ago, we had a top squad. Now we have barely the backbone of a decent Championship squad.
-
if this is really about fairness and sustainability, they should put a limit on how much the top clubs in the EPL can spend on player transfers and wages so that: - the rest do not need to pay extraordinary money just to try to stay within reach - more importantly prices generally do not become overly inflated
-
No…. At least Silva did not do much damage. Faes proactively destroys us.
-
Thankfully I didn’t bother to watch it. Anyway, surely RVN must resign right now. Or must be sacked. Worst ever manager.
-
Our biggest problem this season is our CBs. None of them good enough. I like Okoli though but he was never given a chance.
-
But the problem is, what sort of players are we going to get? Last season, we had a squad full of PL players and other managers used to comment on that. Next season, we won’t. The manager we get will be utmost important to get the best out of whatever squad we will have. Meanwhile, I am going back underground.
-
I fear this time we will stay in the Championship for a long while. Our squad this time is much worst compared to the squad we had last season.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Worst manager ever. We would have survived if we gave Cooper a chance. Even though we didn’t, we were still above the relegation looking threatening.
