  1. Any suggestions who's gonna pay Coady 40k a week? Or Winks? Or even Ricky? Souttar? JJ? Stephy? Cannon 20k a week? Can't see Watford lining up to pay Hamza 40k.a.week
  2. We are obliged to pay them.. Exactly as we had to pay Walker,.Elliott, Muzz, Impey, Frank back in 2002 and we.jadnt any money.. We had to beg the players to defer the wages, which they did.
  3. We'll sell KDH but offers for anyone else, due to PSR mean we'd be taking a hit some couldn't do it Souttar, VK, Soumare, Hermansen are all virtually unsellable without it battering our PSR
  4. Nobody is paying winks and Stephy a combined 70k a week for the next three years. Absolutely zero chance
  5. In championship, -10 points and transfer embargo. But we can use what we have got. Stolarcyk JJ Soutts Coady VK (tough shite that he don't wanna be here, he's under contract) Winks Hamza (or even Soumare) Stephy left Ricky right McAteer central Cannon We could well still go up with a manager who actually knew how to set a team up.
  6. A robust, no nonsense defence. Weaknesses all covered. Strengths maximised. Long throw and set pieces? Souttar's there. Organisation? Coady . Recovery runs and pace? Ricky and JJ overlapping full backs? Any two from VK, JJ and Ricky. An orthodox defence. It's all we needed. Two of Wilf, Winks and Hamza sitting in midfield. KDH, Stephy, Kels, Vards, Dennis or even Ricky if not at full back rotating the attacking midfield slots and strikers, dependent on formation and opposition It's so fcking mind numbingly easy. All players have to do the hard yards.
  7. Couple of things he said this season that were major red flags. One was the magnificent breakaway goals v West Brom and Brum. He bizarrely and openly said he didn't like nor want to play like that. Basically the only excitement we've had this season he hated Second was the ridiculous comment belittling the Leeds game. I remember thinking, wtf have you said that for? It's asking for trouble. Always, always respect the opponent. The man would rather lose than win. His philosophy is more important than winning. This is football sacrilege. Even Peter Taylor wasn't that stupid. At least he wanted to win, but was just too useless to do it.
  8. The scant consolation I can find is that the football gods are saving us from ourselves.. Promotion means 100m,. financial salvation,. relegation again but 10+ years of Thai worship Failure means catastrophic financial meltdown,. probable Luton style penalty down the Divisions....but the likelihood is we'll reform and rise through the divisions in the next decade under new.ownership
  9. Tbh,.once upon a.time we were so good at this. Ask O'Neil. Bloomfield. Milne. Pleat. We'd moan and moan and moan (a very Leicester thing) but at least stuff got done.
  10. Most who follow us to this type of game aren't football fans. They are locked into a comfort routine. It's a behavioural,.comfort blanket disorder that's clearly somewhere on the scale. Just because they follow Leicester it doesn't mean they need to be lauded or excused. A good 500 of the 1600 are, I'm afraid to.say, doolally
  11. They aren't. Many are unwell.
  12. Lots of us said that literally from day one
  13. I sort of agree but also,.most i saw on camera didn't look as if they'd know what day of the week it was.
  14. I'm starting to think we need it. A complete nervous breakdown. Bankruptcy. Total reboot.. It'll be a quicker way back. We'll rebuild inside a decade. The alternative is torture. Whelan. Top. Rudkin. Gold garishly splashed all over all blue kits. Monk blessings. Elephants with trinkets. The whole thing needs a napalm bomb.
  15. Said similar in tonight's game. You get the team the fans deserve. On 84 mins then camera panned to their crowd urging them on and chanting..I commented that if the same scene was shit at the KP, you have hundreds pouring down the aisles to get home for strictly (even tho it's not on) We are a rotten club. Geriatric fans worried about colostomy bags. Listless overpaid players. and clueless management on and off the pitch
  16. Fck full backs. Fck strikers. Fck hard work. Fck tackling. Fck corners. Fck urgency. **** throwing the kitchen sink. **** mixing it up. Fck free kicks. Fck promotion.
  17. We are watching a miracle here. Praise the lord. I think I am experiencing rapture. The Lord cometh and delivery a miracle! 17 point headstart..Plus an extra game. Plus 65m wage bill. Plus 40m.on transfers..Plus playing league one teams that haven't beaten anyone in months. And he deliveth a.miracle!
  18. The man is an absolute disgrace
  19. Called this weeks ago. He's just stopped stopping
  20. We could be out of any competitive football for 10-20-30 years, Forest and Portsmouth and Leeds and Cov style - thanks to a bizarre football experiment from a novice. It's helluva price to pay. And we pay it, not him
  21. These games are harder to lose than win
  22. I think we are watching the worst manager (not coach) in the history of football. In a way it's grimly fascinating. There will be seminars about this guy for decades.
  23. As always, that team, regardless of players left out, is enough to beat anyone, absolutely anyone in this league. All they have to do is put in the miles and play at tempo. But, will they be asked/instructed to do that?
  24. That's revisionism in the extreme. Rodgers we had a team playing football for the opening 20 games one season that was off the charts. That Palace away game. Villa away. The total domination of Man U in the quarter final. I won't list them all. Even Man City away in the Komkany game. Rodgers had a golden period for us that horribly fell away. Puel was also capable of excellent performances. Particularly against the big teams. And for all his faults, we were never ever in relegation trouble. Enzo isn't near either of them,.in terms of CV nor performance.
  25. I think Soulsby would love to have that part, the castle/st mary de Castro and the river connected to the city centre. The damage that Polish town planner fella did to the City is still being felt 60-70 years on. Extraordinary legacy.
