Leeds United (A) 3-1 - Post-Match Thread

Dude enjoy your moment. We are the best team in the league by an absolute country mile yet even we lose. We are in a bit of a mess, but one more half decent run of form from us and we are up. One more wobble from you lot and your ****ed. I wouldn't swap. Even tho I feel like absolute shite -

We outclassed you in the context of the game. Not suggesting you didn't have chances, big pressure. Noisy crowd. We got hold of the game within 2 mins. You can even hear it in your crowd of groans watching control in all areas of the pitch. Good performances aren't just attacking. The gulf in class - considering it was first v second - was embarrassing. All academic tho. We ****ed up big time. I was just curious if, in the cold light if day, Leeds fans felt the win was weird too. That interview with those two laughing players at the end suggested that they felt it was obscure -

I'm struggling to think of a precedent. Our best performance in years. And lost. Anyone know what Leeds fans have made of this? Ot must be equally as weird. The crowd sat in stunned silence for all but the opening 2 mins until the 80th watching their team not just be outplayed, but outclassed....so extensively was the gap between the sides it was to the point of humiliation. -
We didn't have a choice. The maths didn't work

On a pragmatic level, did the players complain hard enough for the disallowed goal? I'd have been in the refs earlier to just go and have a chat with the linesman about who the last touch came off. There is no way the linesman could see. In fact, you could argue he was correct to flag and then inform the ref that Daka was offside IF the touch came off Choudhury. Then the ref could've/ should've decided if he saw that last touch. I don't think we were demanding enough -
Luck and it's role in football

It was a dreadful substitution tbf..same as at Cov. We are delicate. The fine line between an absolute machine but pop Casadei or McAteer in, and it's a house of cards -
Because we are Leicester City. 99.9% of us called it prior to the game. It's what we do. Always have.
-
What planet are you on? We've just totally outclassed the second best team in the league. We can win any game we want. But likewise, we have to be a good 4 or 5 ahead with a minute left to ensure we do so..

you can see it coming a mile off. I always know. 2-1 v Spurs with 23 seconds left. At worst, teams might draw. Nope, not us. Bolton away, crucial relegation game..we are gifted an own goal, a goalkeeper howler and they have e 2 men sent off..IN THE OPENING 10 MINS..2-0 up v 9 men ffs..I went for a walk as I knew we'd fck it up. And obvs we did. 3-0 at ht v Wolves v one of the worst PL teams ever seen. We all knew it'd happen.. 3-1 up away at Middlesbrough when they 3 mins went up on the fourth official board. Tbf we got a.point.. Tbh, had we had we gone 9-0 v Southampton at 70 mins instead of 93, I'd have settled.for a draw -
Tried everything mate. I'm like, you go and approach them for once and me stand like a fcking lemon in the background saying nothing. But he'll still get the shag.

Both had double deflections too -
Story of my life mate. I'll chat up the birds,.make the move, buy the drinks, have all the lines ...yet my ugly zero charisma mate will.somehow.end up managing to shag her

This will be a Laurence Dallaglio moment

We didn't bend over. They created nada. I've never seen us under less pressure -
This will be a Laurence Dallaglio moment
Paninistickers replied to Paninistickers's topic in Leicester City Forum
We will. 12 straight wins. I know how the football gods work.. The result tonight was an absolute joke. It'll do us good. Don't just be better than teams, absolutely annihilate them -
England lost away at Australia I think and Dallaglio told the locker room afterwards to drink it in. That sickening feeling. That it hurts so much that the team never dare lose again. I honestly think we do that now. We will.win every remaining game. We were so far ahead of second place it is untrue. All the injustice of this result will be taken out on the next 12 teams

We've just totally and utterly schooled our nearest rivals. It wasn't tight. It wasn't fine margins. It wasn't luck. It wasn't one of those days. It was a total and utter bumming. We bummed them alive. We pulled the pants down of the second best team in the league,.bent them over and fisted them up to our elbow Freak result doesn't even remotely describe it. We will walk the division and I predict we will win every game for the rest of the season, such is the anger of the players

Not his fault he gets played, but it's embarrassing for all concerned. He shouldn't be on the bench, let alone play

McAteer like Casadei before him is an absolute game destroyer. Enzo cost us at Cov and cost us today. Up until the subs, thanks to Enzo, it was one of our best performances in decades. Right up there with Spurs away in the title winning season -

One of our best performances in decades. We were magnificent. Only us can lose like that. I called at at 79mins. Brilliant. I love it. -
People questioning Daka?! He's been excellent

Performance of the season from Vesty so far

Thought we were outstanding

I expect, nay want, nothing but total humiliation. I'm a bad man and deserve it. Just feel sorry for the other City fans that are good people
