  1. He can't even be bothered with tactics against his own team. Tbf, I didn't know how they played, but if it was my job, I'd have bothered to find out they are fit and hard and physical. That the surface is shite. And during the game I'd spot the huge gaping hole in front of our center halves. But, nah.
  2. Well, that I'd never play Luke Thomas until he was the very last fit man to make up an xi
  3. I don't think KP give a shite about empty seats. I base this by looking at the commercial team. How many sponsors and partners have we got? I mean away from the usual Thai lot, the supposed betting or trading businesses and the odd syndicated deal, brokered by the EFL or by an agency. Compare the local business engagement that Tigers or even County have. KP don't like anything or anyone near them. As a further example of keeping everyone at arm's length, how often does our strange little man have a guest sitting with him?
  4. Our situation has many parallels with Rangers, who (happy to be corrected) sold their gate receipts for the future years in order to pay today's bills. Surprise surprise, they ran out of money having given up the gate money. And ofc went bust. Whatever is happening inside those weird Thai parlours that KP inhabit, I think we see the chaos very very soon. The moment it becomes evident we aren't getting promoted, we will be in the end game. Edit; frankly it'll be a relief. We've a great brand (tbf thanks to KP) but it needs new energy to take us on. Even if we start next season on -20
  5. A rhetorical question I'm sure. But you're right. If people didn't know before (and if they didn't, on what planet do they reside?) she's an absolute nobody. A puppet. A strawman. Red herring. Patsy. Whatever. King Power don't want anyone with a brain meddling in their filthy financial dealings. I'd hazard a guess even the strange little man who we call Top doesnt know more than a fraction of the myriad of layered financial chicanery that KP operates.
  6. True. But I was one of those who loved working from home and sitting in the garden and watching football every day of the week and having nights in with no FOMO. It was bliss. I blame the jabs!
  7. Here's one for the COVID mob. November 2019, saw a photo on my pics feed and could easily blag late 30s. And, as such always claimed to be so on dating apps - and dates never questioned it! (Tho would have to check myself on those good ol' dating chit chat cultural references; Falklands.War, space shuttle crashes or Charles and Di getting married) Fast forward to a pic from April 2021 and a much older, haunted post covid jab face is looking into a selfie. I still feel fine, but look every day the real 52 I am.
  8. That's correct. Not that Top would know it. He won't have the foggiest what he owns. It's like all this garbage about him wanting us to play like Man City. We could play like a composite Howard Wilkinson / Jack Charlton team and Top wouldn't have a clue, so long as Rudkin whispers' that's how Pep does it'
  9. Agree with almost all of the above. I might be a bit more generous though. I think it's probably a hobby that's become a lifestyle. The same breed of punter as those who sit as a school governor, parish councillor and litter picker. These same names revolve around and around,.disappearing from the council chambers and then reappearing as a park run organiser. And so it goes on. Point being, the trust hierarchy has had it easy. But it's not theirs. It's ours. Same as the club itself. I've never seen it as property of Top's or Whelan's or Martin George or Terry Shipman's. It's mine. It's ours.
  10. There's got to be a high chance that she's seen the financial armageddon coming. Added to PSR penalties. Which will lead to catastrophe on and off the pitch. And there's no way out. She's bailed out. Edit; I give it six months til we have a jon holmes, Gary lineker,.emile heskey and Martin George chucking 100k in each to keep a semblance of a club
  11. Some of us have been warning of this for years. Including Vichai times. Since around 2017 the club has bumped desperately, day by day, off invoice finance loans. Spending today what is due in 2 years. Staying more than one season outside the PL was always going to end like this.
  12. Just watching the interview. Swei f as work has all but closed. It's poor stuff from Basin. He's repeatedly speaking on behalf of 'FTR' (are the even an official group?) and sowing seeds of malintent on behalf of the individuals standing for election. I've seen no such comments in any election statements from candidates threatening to use Trust savings or withdraw cooperation with the club . He's no right to make campaigning statements on their behalf. Particularly with no right of reply. He needs disqualifying.
  13. Correct. Basin was at the bottom of my list. However, the bigger point is the apparent election campaigning breach. Care to comment?
  14. Two points. Everybody loses their temper. But very few decide to mix hundreds of people over. The very act is proof the behaviour is abnormal. Second point, you'd roughly put the offence on par with death by reckless driving dm or conspiracy to murder or manslaughter or attempted murder. All super serious offences. But rarely do they get 21 years. The sentence has a media, public opinion, maybe even a Liverpool tax. It feels disproportionate. Particularly for a guilty plea
  15. Goodness gracious, this news report of the nine year old girl being stabbed to death. At Christmas. Incomprehensible how the family must feel. As upsetting a story as it gets.
  16. Exactly this. The channel is in no way culpable. Can only presume the fella is in full panic mode that he's possibly about to lose his life's work and raisin detre. I have some sympathy on a human level with that. But on a practical level - of leading an organisation that should hold the club to account and be its conscience, its soul - he's well past his bedtime. In fact, wouldn't be a bad idea that any serving board member is restricted to, sy, 5/8/10 years.
  17. There's drink drivers who've recklessly caused deaths get far less than 21 years. Just seems wildly OTT. And I mentioned earlier, his defence and probation pre sentence reports haven't done him any favours at all. And dare I say, a brother or best friend could've talked some sense into the defence counsel to offer a better mitigation.
  18. Someone on here mentioned his underwhelming YouTube 'highlights' at the time of signature and took a look myself. It was patently obvious he was not up to it, after just a cursory glance at that video
  19. Just heard his name on the radio about Cardiff. I'd forgotten him. As you say, he couldn't be any worse - having had six decent months at Cardiff is roughly equivalent to 18 mediocre months at QPR. On a wider note, I remain hopeful that someone down there actually knows what they are doing. Jordan James, Aaron Ramsey, Barry Murphy were all shrewd leftfeld deals. The sales of that pitiful imbecile Coady and JJ were decent business too. Someone, somewhere in the weird Buddhist monk, garish KP gold, forever in our hearts, don't sit on the front row world of Seagrave, there's a secret good 'un beavering away
  20. Does seem extraordinarily harsh. It's a sentence more to do with media and politics and public opinion than justice. That said, his defence counsel don't seem to have done him any favours. Surely there's a shout for guilty due to diminished responsibility? There appeared to be no mental health mentioned in mitigation. Nor any mention of it for ore sentencing reports. Clinical or not, to take that course of action,. you've got to be at best unstable and at the other extreme, doolally.
  21. Vite cast for the recommended candidates
  22. @Foxes Trust Reform Echoing/ bumping earlier comments So who are your lot on the ballot?
  23. It does seem to be legit. Extraordinary stuff.
