I think he's been quite good today

I do think Madivadua has been the weak link so far

Tbf I think Praet's been decent, got an assist, played Vardy in to set up that phase of play and put Castagne in behind the full back earlier.

I think he's looked pretty decent in midfield

KDH has made about half a dozen runs in behind the full back and Madivadua hasn't seen him once

Justin makes most sense as the right centre-back surely. I also think Thomas could probably play the inverted role if push comes to shove - though obviously Maresca would prefer Ricardo. Also by the sounds of it, Hamza is likely to end up fighting for the number 8 spot rather than DM. IMO that makes more sense, because he's at his best when he just presses and doesn't have to worry so much about the positional side of the game.

6k would still be nearly 3 times bigger than anywhere else in the city I can think of

It feels a bit unfair to question Postecoglou on the basis of not having managed a top club. He never played outside of Australia and every appointment since his first appears to be upwards. I think that's just how long it takes to make it if you weren't an excellent player.

i think ward's pretty bad, but no keeper in the world claims anything close to 50%. the best in the league by far is emi martinez at 14.5%. those numbers are specifically crosses but i dont see them being miles higher if you change the definition

i'm not sure you can get any closer to scoring a penalty without scoring

statistically, the space about two feet or so behind the front man is the best place to aim a corner. it's an incredibly hard technique to get the ball over their head with pace and enough dip that its headable just behind them. so many corner takers struggle to beat the first man because they're trying to take the "perfect" corner

this match is why refs should actually stop the watch when the ball goes out of play

at least that's better than the monstrosity onefootball showed

amartey seems to have been told to make a deliberate effort to switch the ball to soyuncu

his movement off the ball is often excellent

I think we'd lose too much of his ability to carry the ball at pace if we played him upfront
