I'm actually at the point where I'd drop him. I wonder if the whole inverted full back thing is all because that's the way Ricardo wants/demands to play. I wonder if the main reason Nelson hasn't been picked is cause Marti didn't want to play Nelson in such an exposed centre back position. Which is way he'd been playing Okoli next to Nelson.

This lot are so mentally weak. Even when the manager sets them up to s**thouse a win knowing he'll get slaughtered they still can't see it out.

This is boring to watch but I don't really blame Marti for setting us up like this. The only creativity we have is Fatawu. We are awful going forward, even if we do string passes together our strikers can't score. I'm glad he's given Nelson protection with Okoli next to him instead of inverting the full back leaving Nelson exposed. And I guess Ayew is there to give Thomas some protection. If we are going to be this defensive I'd rather have Daka up top to chase direct balls. Carranza hasn't really won or done anything. I've just come to accept this squad's best way of winning is to s**thouse results since we can't score when we have possession.

Sort of at the point where this can't carry on. But we can't just keep sacking managers. When you look at our last three managers there's an argument to say Cooper was the best of the lot. I'd have even kept RvN over this. At least he was freezing people out and had standards. Who are we going to get next? This guy paid his own compo to come here from a lower league championship team. It's not like these are our first choice's. No manager with any sort of credibility is going to come here. S**t ownership, s**t players who still probably think they're above this level, and fans who rightly or wrongly turn on the manager after a few games when he's got s**t to work with.

I hope he takes of one of these midfielders. Ideally Soumare. It's just too negative.

I wish we'd just play our right back like a normal right back. When Ricardo inverts it means our right sided centre back is so exposed. Also means Fatawu gets doubled, even tripled up on. Also hope it's dawning on some of this lot that they're barely even championship quality. Marti has me worried, but he has such a load of s**t to work with. We desperately need a striker who's clinical and can finish the very few chances we create.

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
Guesty replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
I tried the zone 2 thing when I first started taking running seriously. It can work but you need to know your true heart rate zones. I read about some formula like 220 minus your age to work out your max heart rate then basing your zones off that. But found I was having to walk at times. That formula would have my max heart rate at 179 with my heart rate zones based off that. But when running I've got it up to 198 when really pushing. When I looked into it, some people just have higher or lower than average heart rates and very few push themselves to find out their true max heart rate - so their zone 2 isn't correct. I found the best way to try and find mine was to run a fast 10k then finish on a long uphill and keep going till I felt sick and couldn't go anymore (there are probably better ways). Then I manually changed my heart rate zones in the garmin app. But even now I rarely spend more than 50% of a run in zone 2 - even on easy runs with friends - and I've given up trying. It must work for some/most people but not me. Sometimes it's just as easy to go by feel and just enjoy it. I read if you can still talk whilst your running thats a good judge of zone 2. -
I"d stick Daka on a half time if it stays like this. He might actually get on the end of these through balls. Yeah, he'll probably shank it when he gets there, but there's a 5% chance he might hit the target. Also means their back for will have to drop deeper giving the midfield a bit more space.

Russell Wilson benched by the Giants already. Crazy to think he forced his way out of the Seahawks cause he thought Pete Carroll was holding him back from achieving his legacy. When all it really exposed is how Carroll assembled a team which minimised his flaws, protected him and played to his strengths. Sort of feel sorry for him now.

Push, Pull, Legs routines are quite popular. You can sort of pick the exercises you prefer in each section. Sort of is what it says on the tin. One day you push the weights and next day you pull them and then a day of legs. Eg: Push: bench press, incline press, overhead press, raises (for shoulders), push ups. Pull: Rows, deadlift, pull ups, lat pull downs (if you have access to the machine), bicep and hammer curls, face pulls. Legs: squat (back, front or single leg/split), lunges, calf raises can also put deadlifts here too I think. There's more exercises for each section - this was just off the top of my head; you don't have to do them all, just find ones you enjoy. I'm not an expert but with a push pull routine you can do it 3 or 6 days a week - or if you miss out legs just 2. But maybe look up push, pull routine on youtube and google there's loads of information. Sometimes it can be information overload. I've found getting a pull up bar really helped me - just one of those exercises I really enjoy; a low risk of injuring yourself but a good test of overall upper body condition.. Consistency is one of the most important things I've found; so finding exercises you enjoy is important. So is diet, but thats a whole other subject. Good luck.

Rudkin all day long. It's not even close for me.

There was a MOTD2 on BBC1 I watched it. It's already on BBC Iplayer.

This interview with Timpson is quite interesting. I'm not sure how long ago or when it was recorded.

Think it's a pro-Gaza independent.

I read on twitter they reckon Leicester East will probably be the only Tory gain in the country.

For anyone interested. Some like Mid Leicestershire are 5:30am 😟

I think this election is going to throw up some proper strange results.

Her look at the end, haha.

I was looking forward to channel 4's coverage. Her talking over people has already made me start moving around to other channels. Acts like it's nothing to do with her; when lazy grifters like her are why they've just lost a landslide election.
