  1. Excellent move for him. I think he's been a model pro while earning a lot less than some of the other charlatans and leeches at the club. Should be an increase in earnings for him.
  2. One positive is that he doesn't get injured very often. Though that is also a negative as he's always available for selection.
  3. No transfer news on him then?
  4. Put on weight again hasn't he. Classic binge eating disorder tucking into the all day free buffet at Seagrave.
  5. Are these regens? What about: Josep Kuntz Karim Al-Fannie Larry Schlong
  6. Don't want to go into social history too much here, but the main thing that has changed is the means of communication and the incredible speed of the news cycle. Yesterday's news used to be tomorrow's chip paper, but now it's constantly updated and from multiple sources. Immigration has always and will always be a fuse for social unrest and a gateway for political opportunists. Labour is I think more seen as a political elite or autocratic non-ideological government now by lots of people, whereas in the past they had closer trade union and traditional working class roots. In that sense they are seen as interchangeable and just as complicit for immigration problems as the previous government.
  7. If he gets this lot promoted, re-name Abbey Park after him.
  8. Think he might do better abroad at this stage of his career. He was bullied off the ball a number of times and this will be his problem with a loan as EFL refs allow it.
  9. He won the lottery. Basically a four year holiday for £20 million and after that he's still young enough to go back to France and play some football if he fancies it. There must be lots of players on the continent who laugh at the money they were paid in England.
  10. So obvious we need fresh blood.
  11. Aisha looks good, can we sign him?
  12. Perhaps more about seeing who the best option is if BEK is off
  13. Feels like a friendly
  14. 8 down. Looking good for victory and boost to NRR.
  15. You wouldn't be referring to a certain Mr Crawley would you? Seecharan will need to improve his golf swing to make the England squad. Speaking of private schools down here in the Garden of England, ex-fox, Vince Wells, is still Head of Cricket at Sutton Valence School, just outside Maidstone.
  16. Looks lovely at Kibworth on the feed, I hope people have got their sun cream on though, not a lot of shade. One of the other benefits of the MB Cup, is the amount of out-ground matches it facilitates. Looks a flat pitch, par must be well over 300.
  17. Would be madness to sell him as he should increase in value, even though that's hard to predict.
  18. Kimber playing for Birmingham tonight.
  19. Yep, similar to what Ipswich have done with loan for Akpom, loan for Cajuste and what Sunderland did last year with Le Fee
  20. 26 now, should be in his prime. Certainly gone pete tong here, the guy has 14 appearances for France under-21s, which you usually have to be quite decent to manage. Looks like Patrick Viera in his Lille clips.
  21. Superb innings by Brevis against Australia - 125 in 56 balls.
  22. Certainly stands the test of time and from their greatest album in my opinion. Though for me, Morrissey's vocals grate a bit more than they used to, though in part due perhaps to the contemporary impact of an emphasis on vocals, whereas The Smiths came out of a post-punk world, emphasizing that anyone could form a band, regardless of musical ability. The Queen is Dead will be 40 years old next year and I remember buying the vinyl LP from Tower records in Piccadilly Circus and just thinking the whole package - music and vinyl sleeve - was just this remarkable, precious work of art. Played it to death, bought the t-shirt.
  23. Let him be gone. He's already won promotion with us, was Enzo's player and his heart is not in doing it again. We need someone else who is hungry for this challenge.
  24. https://www.cricketworld.com/mitchell-killeen-to-join-essex-stanley-mcalindon-to-leave-durham/104741.htm Durham are releasing Stanley McAlindon. Could be a good young seamer for us and guys from Durham are usually solid cricketers. Obviously, having a player called Stanley, would also be fantastic, hopefully get plenty of edges
  25. Don't forget Opoku
