For me we should go for the jugular. I feel for their fans, but I want to see us destroy them, for our own benefit, a massive win would do us the world of good!
-
You’re not wrong, but in the same breath they’ve 16 players of which most are academy, and academy that aren’t ready. They’ve had cancelled friendlies, aren’t sure if they’re being paid….. if we lose this, it will be a whole new low, unacceptable and frankly embarrassing. With no disrespect to Wednesday.

I’m expecting at least 6-0, not going to lie I’d be disappointed with a 4-1 win, given the circumstances 😂
-
It runs out soon doesn’t it?
-
Don’t need to sell him, and the club stated one key asset a year, so that one has now gone.
-
We signed him for what £7m? Selling him for around £18m? You generally don’t make a massive amount of money on goalkeepers, is £20m plus justified for Mads? I’d personally say £18m is a decent return and about right in my opinion.
-
Good move all round this. Nice profit made on him. I love Mads, I think he will go on to be one of the best in the world. Fantastic shot stopper, amazing with his feet, and has still time to improve. Genuinely wish him all the best, and hope he goes on to achieve what o think he can.

This is Leicester city though, we’re experts at obliging to the ridiculous.

Can Bannan play? Considering they’ve got a registration embargo?
-
It’s got 0-1 written all over it.

Besiktas confirm they are close to signing Wilfred Ndidi

All of them apparently. It’s like a scene from Mike Basset at Seagrave today. -
Not good enough for a long term investment. I’d take a seasons loan to cover however.
-
So we can’t spend what we want, incase we upset the “big clubs”, and they’re also allowed to pick off our top talent, because they can? Football can do one….. bring on the super league so that lot can piss off once and for all…….

What for West Ham?

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

You’re right, Stephy is a moody player, but when he is on it, and Abdul is on it, and Bilal is conducting the orchestra, many defenders will be receiving free enemas on a weekly basis. -

He was only really introduced because we were down and the pressure was off. You’ve got to be really careful with players so young, because last season was fine the pressure was off, but imagine if he makes mistakes when we’re losing to Cov at home? We know how toxic crowds can get, and that would damage his confidence. Monga needs to be allowed to be this season, be allowed to play without fear and criticism. He will make mistakes as he’s only a kid, but if we let him just work his way into the team organically, he will flourish. We need him to grow, not be forced into being a saviour, because no matter how good he is, no 16 year old should carry the weight of a whole team on their shoulders. His time will come, we need to be clever and considerate with him. -

Completely disagree. Monga is developing, to heap that amount of pressure on him at this stage is unfair and could damage his progression. He needs to feel free this season and be allowed to develop. Alves likewise, he’s a year behind where he should be thanks to a horrific injury. Bilal is head and shoulders above anyone else on this league, he’s goes and we don’t replace him (which let’s face it we won’t be able to) our chances of promotion comfortably, disappear. -

Ideal! However, we could have a major problem come January with the amount of AFCON players we have. Fatawu, Ayew, Daka potentially Kone if he joins (and gets called up) Bilal…… could be interesting. Obviously it’s hypothetical but still….. -

I can’t see him leaving to be honest. We all know how good he is, but his figures for last season don’t warrant a £22m price tag at this time……. I think a year at this level will do him wonders, he will comfortably be the best player in the league, January would be the time to worry about losing him, but we could ramp the price up if necessary. -

If we lose him, is significantly weakens us I think… -

Thought it was more than that….. still. Can’t afford to let him go I don’t think….. unless we’re willing to give Page a go there? Not to heap pressure on the lad, but he looks mustard. -
Wonder if Leverkusen will loan Kofane out…
-
Maher Carrizo…. €6m is his current value. Why can’t we start doing what Brighton, and now Forest are doing? Sign these players before some shitty MLS team does and ruins them.

No way we’re selling him for less than we paid for him. And in the stupid event he did leave, we need to be looking at Maher Carrizo…. Before we let another quality youngster piss off to some stupid league.
