  1. I think some people are missing the point though. Forget Southampton or Burnley I’m not bothered about them. There’s pragmatism and then there’s this…. You cannot let the fact we’ve won the game mask the fact it was a horrible performance. And it was a very lucky victory….. this bizarre idea that this team is crap is completely wide of the mark. This team is man for man better than Southampton, it’s also better than Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton of last season. This team currently has arguably a bulk of its better players not getting on the pitch. The fact is, Cooper has dragged us down to a level where we’re all sat here saying “well I think there’s three worse teams than us”, and what happens when Southampton beat us at their place? That theory goes then…… If Cooper was going on holiday to France, and had two options, fly or get a ferry, but the ferry has to go around the world first, because it is safer, he would take that option. His luck will run out quickly if we carry on setting up and playing like that…. There’s a reason he’s only won a handful of games, he’s a rubbish coach, there’s no plan to what he is doing, no obvious signs of a style, it’s literally hang on best we can for 90 minutes and hope Mavididi or Buonanotte do something.
  2. It wasn’t a penalty.
  3. Perfect way of describing it.

  5. The manager is allergic to good decision making…
  6. Apart from when he tells Mads to kick it to him, and he loses the header.
  7. Is it? A lot worse? Worse than a team and manager that just couldn’t be arsed? That team got relegated rather pathetically. Technically yes, we had some better players in that team, but as a collective they were rubbish. This team we actually have some decent balance in it, and there seems to be a good team spirit and togetherness that we saw last season. The gulf, I don’t think is as big as people make out, all the teams you mentioned are utterly dreadful, Sheffield United were a complete mess, Luton made up the and Burnley weren’t great either. I didn’t think much to Bournemouth today, in the first half they left so much space for us to attack, yet, only one manager made changes to alter their fortunes, whilst we just sat and watch them work their way back into the game. We don’t need to play like Southampton, we just need to strike a better balance in the team, and play the players who can have an impact. Cooper has ripped all that was good about this team out, and replaced it with this absolutely horrible negative drivel, with zero creativity. Cooper will send us down, playing like this he will. What’s the point in persisting with this when we can be better? You can’t sustain something when there’s no clear plan.
  8. I’m surprised the Coopites aren’t on here saying he played will along with Ayew………….
  9. Thought he was dreadful. All he does is fall over. Offers absolutely nothing in terms of assists and goals. He’s a proper shit club player. I don’t ever want to see him in a Leicester shirt again.
  10. I think the main argument is we can be better, we’ve got some technically gifted players in this team, and with a better coaching team we could be playing better football and probably being doing slightly better. I just feel there’s a general acceptance that the goal is 17th…. When we can actually achieve a bit more in my opinion.
  11. I actually thought that there were odd examples of off body language today. There is definitely something off, and it’s no surprise, Vardy looked irritated to me, like he did towards the end of Puel’s time with us. It’s not a happy camp, not at all…. And it makes me wonder if this will eventually force the boards hand.
  12. And here’s the issue, this attitude “we only need to be 17th”…… We’re getting worse week by week, as another game passes we seem to lose more ability to pass a football. Cooper was appointed for damage limitation, this is no longer necessary, his football is absolutely turgid… we don’t need to grind out games, we don’t need to be over cautious….. there is quality in this team, but our manager is incapable of maximising that potential. The problem is, there’s no definite idea, he just lobs 11 players onto the pitch, and hopes Mavididi or Buonanotte can come up with something. There’s no structure in the team, it was all over the place at times and we ended up with about 5 players in the midfield all getting on each other's way…. We’re not progressing, we’re clinging on, and my fear is at some point some teams around us will start to click and we just won’t move on. Cooper’s limitations are harming us. What is positive is that we aren’t playing well at all, but we are picking up points.
  13. He was ****ing dire…. Closely followed by Soumare…. Lad just watches the game.
  14. Agree with you, this idea just ****s me off…… I think because of the relegation and the PSR issues people seem to think we’re shit….. that’s not the case, we’ve made some poor decisions off the field which have caused us to decline….. but we’re not ****ing Burnley, we’ve still got plenty of money, we just need to make sure we’re not being frivolous with it and wasting it on shit players…… like ****ing Ayew. Id put my mortgage on the line saying that if we had Bournemouth’s manager, we would be playing much better than this. Cooper is tactically inept and just can’t get to grips with this team….. we were let off big style today, it’s alright the Cooperites coming out of the woodwork when we win, but it was still a horrific performance. The players were fighting for the badge today, which is one good thing, as it means they’ve got something about them.
  15. I applied, but I was told it would be unfair, taking Woking to the champions league final on championship manager is apparently completing football.
  16. You can be dissatisfied even if you win. That game was made 100 times harder because of Cooper’s decision making and complete tactical knowledge. I know we’re in a different league, but this team has lost all ability to play football…. That is not an ability thing, this is a coaching problem. Defending for your lives is not being “set up”, it’s just throwing bodies in front of balls hoping not to concede, and this is not sustainable and at some point will stop working. There were bits today that were good, but they largely came from Mavididi and Buonanotte’s individual brilliance rather than a collective team work. We had chances, but come on, Bournemouth will be coming off that pitch wondering how they came away with nothing, their finishing was poor, a more clinical team would have won. The results are papering over the cracks, the argument that we’ve not been stuffed is all well and good, but we’ve hardly been convincing either. The argument is that this team is not as bad as it looks on the pitch, there are some good technical players in that side, and anyone who thinks otherwise just needs to look at when things do click, it looks good. The team is poorly coached, poorly set up and lacks any kind of creative management. Cooper was appointed for damage limitation, that’s no longer an issue, yes he is still managing the team like this, it’s horrible and it will not keep us up. We need a manager who’s going to be braver, and who has more tactical knowledge about him. Cooper just hasn’t got it, and all this victory does it further paper over the cracks in his ideology (or lack of)… So in answer to your question no, I’m still not happy even with three points.
  17. This team is far better than that showing…. What we are learning is Cooper is a hideous coach, that performance just screamed a lack of good coaching. I better coach makes us look 100 times better than that I can assure you, he is the reason that was made to look harder than it should have been.
  18. He got away with that today, a Var decision and poor finishing from Bournemouth spared him. Still no identity, and the football is getting worse. Backs against the wall against Bournemouth? ****ing honking. **** off Cooper.
  19. It’s a read sad indictment of where we are. Cooper has reduced us to a stoke city style team. There’s still no idea, that was like a school football team, just hoping Mavididi and Buonanotte would do something. The only reason we’ve escaped with three points is because of VAR and Bournemouth were actually pretty crap in the final third. We won’t stay up playing like that, and Cooper still absolutely needs binning, there were so many dreadful aspects to that game, including Jordan Ayew….. I never EVER want to see him play for us again, an utterly ****ing horrible footballer. I don’t think I’ve ever been this annoyed after winning a game.. Get out of our club Cooper and take that bellend Ayew with you.
  20. I’ve changed my mind, I’m feeling positive…. 2-1 city…….. Until Bournemouth score a 94th minute equaliser, following some stoic defending. 2-2…….
  21. Cooper will be buzzing! Another player who won’t contribute with goals!
  22. I feel Cooper sets up to try and neutralise the opponents attack, rather than focus on how we can break teams down. He either does one or the other, and seemingly can’t come up with a system to do both.
  23. I do too, and I work with a Villa fan, just pains me to see it….. it makes you realise how badly we ****ed things up……..
