Good effort!

To be fair it doesn’t matter what side Cooper picks, his football is turgid and dreadful…. It’s like starting a chess game with all of the pieces, but now knowing how to play. Whoever he picks, he will manage to reduce to the football to style Gary Megson would be proud of.

Skipp played ahead of Winks last weekend…..
-
Coopers watched all of our games from last season apparently…….
-
Cameron Archer Hat trick incoming.
-
Anywhere, where Ayew’s name appears should be met with the highest aggression and hostility. Unless it’s in the bin.

A win followed by Cooper getting sacked, Carlsberg don’t do weekends……..

Ricardo on the bench, HONKING.

Someone get Cooper some CALPOL, no Ayew?
-
I’m baffled that this is still the opinion of some fans………

Why is it a strange argument? It’s literally the one major criticism Maresca got whilst he was here, but at least he played a properly balanced squad. Cooper is demonstrating week by week that he his tactical knowledge falls short of what can be reasonably expected of a premier league coach. In fact, he isn’t a premier league coach by any stretch of the imagination. His over cautious approach is an attempt to make up for him not know long how to address the balance of the squad. The attack is being stifled because he’s choosing to play the wrong systems and won’t attempt anything that would potentially mean he has to play too many attacking players. It’s clear with him signing Ayew that his idea will be to scrap his way through the season. Any of the progression gained last season, is being rapidly lost because of his lack of ability to get the attacking side of the team right. All Cooper is doing is throwing 11 players on a pitch and is hoping they can figure something out.
-
Maresca was transfixed with one idea, and deployed it at all costs, his inexperience is what would have harmed us this season. Cooper is tactically inept and is way out of his depth. We need a coach with who is tactically aware and able to maximise the potential this squad has. Not suffocate like Cooper is currently doing.

We’re going to make Ben Brereton Diaz look like prime Zamorano. -

Any manager that decides to play Jordan Ayew and Soumare deserves to be thrown off a cliff edge, let alone sacked. -

100%. Best take yet. -
I don’t even know why I raised it as an argument, because I agree with you, there are much better options overseas!
-
He may be, but he is a million times better than Cooper. Who frankly is treading water in tar.
-
I actually think in general we were fairly good for most of the game, and fairly comfortable, it fell apart when Cooper failed to alter the team and allowed Palace a foothold in the game. If he had made better changes and not have withdrawn our output, we probably could have got something.

That ain’t going to happen though is it? Coops will approach this like any other game I feel, Ayew will still be fumbling around on the wing, and we will be hoping Mavididi or Buonanotte (if he plays) can muster something up. Its just one of those moment where you know full well the ever obliging Leicester will pop up from its slumber to come give us a good dosage of let down……. -

Actually think they will win this quite comfortably. Come flying out the traps and catch up with our pants down. -

All Cooper needs to do is watch what we did against them last season. But he won’t, and we will approach this game the same way as we have all the others, over cautious and let them have all of the ball. -
Count yourself lucky, my mate once paid £50 for his son to get Darren Fletchers autograph…..

How important is the team's state of mind on the pitch?
Pliskin replied to Elsie Effcee's topic in Leicester City Forum
Coopers mentality stinks. @Ric Flair describes him perfectly as watching a PG with the lights on.
