  1. Surely the lads have to be up for this? After last weekends debacle, everything can be out to bed with a win here. And it’s about time we just went for a team and savaged them. This is the best squad on paper, and Enzo needs to let them go for it tonight, they won’t be able to handle our attack if we properly go for it. A win tonight I think gets one finger on the promotion party.
  2. Enzo say shake it all about.
  3. Hamer passing ability is outrageous, McAtee I do like, but Hamer is an absolute gem.
  4. Gus Hamer, he’s proven he’s more than capable of playing at PL level in a pretty poor Sheff United side.
  5. I’ve got a feeling if we can get someone out (Praet or Thomas) I’ve got a suspicion we will try for Diallo. I’m not sold United will keep him, there’s a deal there to be struck I think.
  6. Us and Southampton will stride away from the chasing pack now I think.
  7. You can’t judge anyone until they’ve pulled on a shirt and started to play. Sensi clearly has ability, there’s risks with every player whatever their backstory and for the money that’s being touted this could be an outrageous bit of business. Sometime having someone pursue you because of you can make all of the difference. I remember when Cambiasso initially spoke and said we made him feel like he was our number one target, if Sensi comes here feeling wanted it can make all of the difference. Give the lad a chance, if Enzo is happy and he passes his medical, there’s nothing to fear.
  8. Why was no one in for Fatawu? Or Mavididi? Or Winks?
  9. I think that’s probably a result of being subjected to Brendan Rodgers completely ridiculous transfer history.
  10. Didn’t we initially want him on a permanent deal? And Man City pulled it and opted for a loan. I think they’ve thought because it’s likely we’re going to get promoted, we might want to sign him the following summer, so will just slap an extra £20m onto his price tag. They will be doing stuff like this now they’re under the spotlight…..
  11. Got no choice but to recruit now!
  12. Perhaps it’s Enzo’s youthfulness (in terms of management), that he’s talking about it so openly, or perhaps it’s a tactic for him to lean on the club to pressure them to move. It seems however the crooks of the situation is that the wage bill needs reducing before he comes in, otherwise we’re stepping into dangerous FFP territory. I’ve not actually heard any interviews with him regards Sensi, has he actually said “yes he’s a target”, or has someone said “do you know of sensi” and he’s simply replied with a. “Yes he’s a good player”……
  13. I think that that bridge is burned, VK said in an interview he refused to play the LCB role as he was a full back……..
  14. I rate him. It’s a shame that he obviously doesn’t fancy Enzo’s way. He’s make a decent LCB…… but if the opportunity comes to sell him, sell him!
  15. Come on ladies and Gents, we know full well this is his agent playing silly buggars.
  16. Sorted that for you.
  17. Eagles defence is as solid as a paper dam….. tackling like a year 5 touch rugby team.
  18. If we change his surname to Wardinho, perhaps Forest will have £500m for him?
  19. I disagree with this 11 v 11 we wouldn’t have lost that game. Cov huffed and puffed without really being brilliant, and we needed the game to end ten minutes earlier than it did.
  20. Finally caught up on watching the Cowboys stack it! You see the look on the fans faces “oh we are actually doggo”. Bills looked good offensively!
  21. Rodgers tenure will go down as the most bizarre in our history. In all honesty, his early success was down to the squad he inherited, it was a strong team on paper, and this made his job easier. With regards to the man himself, he is his own worst enemy. It’s clear he’s all about Rodgers, he’s got no time for anyone else, he wants to run the club his way or no way, this is something he must have picked up whilst working with Jose. There must be something in him, because he’s had some success with domestic trophies with his respective clubs, but there’s another side to him….. he’s like Senator Palpatine, appears to be all nice in the public eye, but behind the scenes he’s devising evil plans to eventually ruin football clubs. What’s different with Rodgers and Toylor is Taylor was just plain incompetent and out of his depth, Rodgers turned his back on the club because he didn’t get what he wanted, downed tools and sabotaged the team out of spite, and I think that’s the gods honest truth. I think his decline started after the FA cup, where he thought that was his ticket to a bigger job, when that didn’t come he wanted more control, when he got that but with restrictions he wasn’t happy and played the woe is me card and then just drove the club into the ground. I despise the bloke, I’ll never acknowledge his achievements because of what he did here. In my eyes, our worst ever manager.
  22. it’s hardly a surprise to see Forest’s name up there. Their owner is a maniac and they were spending money like it was going out of fashion. They can’t punish Everton and then let Forest off, they breached and that is that, if anything it looks even worse, they had a chance to sell Johnson within the window, and chose not to, so they’ve only got themselves to blame. So absolutely punish them. They cant not, how is it fair that we curb our spending, and end up going down, and they spend like someone on a come down from acid with the munchies in McDonalds and get away with it. Light the match and watch them burn!
  23. I get you, you’re correct. No point loaning players, like you say it’s the sales we need to offset the spending. Would be ideal if we could sell someone like Thomas, home grown player off the books!
  24. It’s about FFP, not about the transfer kitty as such. The squad is over inflated with wages that go far beyond that of a championship side. We’ve got to be careful because if we fail to get promoted, there’s potentially a whole world of pain around the corner, so we’ve got to be sensible in the market.
  25. Take every point off them. Watch them burn! Everton won’t ever get relegated. They could be deducted 100 points and still stay up.
