We are in this mess because of Top and Rudkin, not PSR, we are serial offenders, breaching every season pretty much, because of the mistakes made my Top and Rudkin, and mistakes they continue to make. His football club isn’t being ran, it’s being destroyed…. The points deduction is entirely their fault, our demise is entirely their fault.

Oh come off it, don’t you dare give the club an inch. They’re not trying not to spend out of choice, it’s out of necessity…. We are in this mess because of our horrific wage bill, we’ve got more money going out than we have coming in……. And our “owner” has just delivered the most pathetic/worrying view on things here at the club, and sees to think it’s all a bit of a joke, giggling when thinking we could gain automatic promotion signing no players? You can’t blame the EPL and the EFL for the mess we’re in, everyone know the rules are bent towards to elite, but both Everton and Nottingham Forest took their punishments and sorted themselves out…. Roughly five years we’ve been embroiled in this PSR cycle, and it’s so bad we still haven’t managed to get the mega earners off the books. Top and Rudkin are completely to blame for this mess, they’re the ones who put us in it, not the league, and even worse allegedly we’ve beached the last two seasons again!!! Its utter sheer incompetence, and if Top remains this club will end up in administration playing none league football within the next decade, probably a hell of a lot less. They deserve no leeway at all, it’s a mega deduction forced that useless twat out, I’m all for it. I care about the long term future of this club, not this clown.

I’m now hoping they crucify us…. Such is Tops complete blaze approach to it all, it might be enough for him to sell up.

I do agreed. I’d credit Vichai with having the foresight to let Pearson, Shakey and Walsh set the club up properly, and that was the root cause of it success…. Managers after him benefitted hugely from the work Pearson, Shakey and Walsh did, and by the time it came to the end of Brendan’s tenure that system had all but eroded down to Top and Rudkin…… And our current situation just cements to fact that this is what has happened. Pearson a project has diminished to a point where we are back at square one.

What he fails to recognise is the club started moving in the right direction under Pearson…… I wont credit Top with anything other than the destruction of his father’s work. Vichai deserves all of the credit, he had the foresight to allow the right people to do the right jobs. Top, which is highlighted in his interviews, is completely clueless.

May as well appoint a fish, no worse than the current list.

No he hasn’t, skirted around the fact he should have probably communicated. The bloke blames PSR, thinks we can win the league not signing anyone, and then giggles saying “we will go up next season”. Given our circumstances Rowett is probably ideal. He’s worked under constraints before and this is what we need, someone who isn’t going to be bothered by the bullshit and will be happy to work with what they have. I think he’s fairly open to youth players too…. I imagine that he wouldn’t suffer fools like Ayew.

I’m sorry, but after that interview, anyone who offers this bloke a shred of room to breathe is deluded. Yes, what happened to Vichai is an absolute tragedy, I can’t put myself in his shoes and understand how he feels. But, this isn’t an excuse for what’s happening here. Top should have recognised quickly, that he isn’t capable of running this club and address it, by either selling a majority steak, or the club all together. All he is doing is further destroying all of the hard work his dad put in, for which I am sure he would be devastated to see. And, being only 6 points off the playoffs isn’t a positive thing, it’s just a reflection of how poor this league is, none bar 6 teams are striking any kind of consistency. And it’s irrelevant, because we’re more likely to get relegated than promoted.

Ralph would be a good shout. He won’t take any shit, and would get us working hard.

That IV was utterly horrific. The bloke either on crack, or is extremely thick, or just plain naive…… To have the delusion to suggest that your target was top two, and spend no money, to then essentially blame the PSR rules, rules that you repeatedly keep breaching due to your incompetence.
