King Power’s business is travel related and their biggest customers are the Chinese, who haven’t travelled anywhere for three years. So the piggy bank is empty.

Angry, disappointed. Pleased with the effort and quality at times but gutted at our bad luck. Yet at times we gave the ball away cheaply and were short of quality up front. Soumare had his best game since I can’t remember when, Nachos touch was shocking when he came on and Vardy is always more threatening than Daka i want to see the same with a bit more quality up front against Fulham on Tuesday and we will win.

The spine of yesterdays team, Amartey, Soumare and Daka not good enough . All three should be dropped for Anfield. Newcastle were bigger, stronger and quicker in every respect. Very disappointing performance.

Yes it was like watching somebody in a pub at closing time, who has spotted a girl and is desperate for everybody else to go, so he says good night to all of them and then enjoys the moment when he is alone with her, except BR was the guy and we in the away end were the girl. he has turned things around massively so he fully deserved his moment and a perfect way to close the first half of the season .

One of those away days where everything went well. Easy trip down, banter with some Hammers fans in a local bar and overall another good performance in front of a vocal away support. Started really well and in full control until Maddison went off them we seemed to lose our flow and I feared Tielemans penalty miss may cost us. However another excellent game from Faes and Ward again unbeaten meant three consecutive away wins for the first time in over two years. BR milked the applause at the final whistle and fair play to him, He has had a lot of stick but his team have turned things around. Well done boys, a fantastic day.

A better performance albeit against a poor Leeds side. Faes reminded me of Steve Walsh in his heyday, big, strong with a touch of arrogance. Needs to avoid the mistakes like he made early in the game to concede a dangerous free kick on the edge of our box.

Until the Villa game at least.

My kids are in their twenties, I’ve told them about midweek away trips to Newcastle and Plymouth in the eighties and nineties and the long journey home after another defeat with no prospect of ever hitting the big time. They are more realistic than some of their friends because I keep telling them what it used to be like and the recent successes are all very new in the history of our club and everything is cyclical.

We didn’t play enough for a point against Man U. They hardly got out of second gear and apart from Justin’s chance at the end we barely laid a glove on them.

I think the real decider would be if we lost at home to Villa.

They won’t, Ranieri won us the league and he was sacked so they will do what’s required.

Exactly, four games. Forest were bottom of the championship last season after more than 4 games, they made changes and are now in the PL.

Some perspective. We were coasting for an hour against Brentford and had the game in our hands. Arsenal are flying and we were unlucky this afternoon, on another day Perez chance would have gone in. Southampton was poor but four games in and apparently we are already relegated! Liverpool only had two points before today!

What we need to do is stay with the team. If we concede early then we don’t want booing and calling the manager etc. wait until the game is over before letting Top know how we feel.

Too many people saying he should go without putting forward viable replacements. Not names like Graham Potter, why would he leave Brighton to come here? Realistic names, I haven’t got any so I’m keeping quiet.

5th, 5th and 8th plus our first FA cup. Not bad. Since the heady days of 2015/16 we seem to have expectations of Champions League and other such riches. I think BR will go before the fans chase him out. We should be careful what we wish for.

STH with a spare for any of my family to use the other one. Had a season ticket in the O’Neal years then the children started appearing so downgraded to a membership and managed to get my hands on a couple of season tickets last season. 5 or so away games a season, prefer the longer haul, Brighton, Southampton, Burnley, Newcastle etc plus remote cup games Torquay, Carlisle even on my own as I’m a miserable old git now, according to my children.

You judge a man or a woman by the words of those that they leave behind and the words of everybody on here says it all.

I hope he shows more interest than he did last season.

The Griffin Park Grapevine is full of Brentford to win predictions, half of our team already sold by all accounts. Plus they were the better team against us on both occasions last season apparently! We need to put them right.
