Tbf you could say the same about Pearson

Nah. He doesn't think electricity is real.

The same Holloway who has just carried out an exorcism on his club's training ground?

"Go on, buy me and my mate a drink. Woooo!" That's the vibe he's getting but that jumper is staying rolled right up.

Oh and lots and lots of climate immigration when Africa overheats

From my own observation and research (mostly about making my home more efficient and weather proof), it seems to be the way rising temps will affect the UK and northern Europe will be - warmer air holds more moisture - melting ice caps means higher sea levels - higher sea levels means rivers adversely affected The end result is more rain, more dodgy storms because of hotter air and more flooding. It's not the Britain will become "like Italy" because we're too far up the curve of the Earth for that. More likely that we'll have more bad impacts. For us to adapt it would most likely mean continuously repairing roads, weatherproofing houses, moving away from flood plains and building loads of defences. Costs a lot of money, either way.

I think the first premier league woman manager should not be someone dropped into a relegation battle, against a media that are calling the club ridiculous for sacking their "overachieving" manager. Honestly, the likes of Man United and Liverpool would be better off doing it.

"bUt ThEyRe SiXtEeNtH" Yeah and we had 1 more point by this stage in 22/23, with Brendan Rodgers - a much better manager. The idea that just surviving in the premier league is something you should be pleased with is a joke. We scraped points against a rubbish Southampton side and a borderline undeserved equaliser against Ipswich. Fans outside looking in just look at the table. 2 points above relegation, with teams around you doing better, is not "safe"

Scoreline isn't as bad as I expected but the performance has been

I think our tactic is "cause chaos in the box". Didn't say which box.

Bants when he starts KDH -
Just seen Lookman is being eyed by Man United and Real Madrid. Proper "here's what you could have won" vibes.

I've done something silly and signed up for the Edinburgh marathon... -
Oh, great. Just what we wanted. Death by a thousand cuts, this season.

The more I think about it, the more I'm sort of glad of where I live. I'm actively trying to contribute less to climate change by eating around 40% less meat and having solar. I'll likely by dead by the worst of it and at least I tried.

As noted - jelly babies, etc. I have those nature valley oat bars for big runs. Usually around mile 5/ 50 minute mark (depending on where you're at) And there's no chance I'd do Alton Towers half again. Absolutely none. They also badly managed numbers and didn't open rides until 1pm, so if you were someone who completed the 5k in 35 mins, you'd have had over 2 hour wait for them to even open rides. -
Every American I've spoken to has been amazed by the UK. NHS Cheaper and better quality food in shops No guns/ general threat of violence Statutory holidays and maternity

Alton Towers half today. Deceptively killer course. Lots of bottlenecks, very up and down, many obstacles. And it was damp. 1:55. Better than expected but it's definitely a race that attracts less able. There's also a 5k and there were people walking it after 2km. Unreal.
