State of the squad and rest of the season, an opinion.
drew replied to Chrysalis's topic in Leicester City Forum
Hopefully Ruud can make the sum of the parts equal way more than the individual worth, some appalling play today. -
Faes is the epitome of the dunning kruger effect

I've been to one home game all season through recovery from an operation and general malaise towards the club, might start going again now. A nonsensical appointment from the outset, terrible idea and to be honest, unfair on Cooper who seems like a genuine guy, just out of his depth.

Seems like a shoe in then.

Arsenal (A) Match Thread - 15:00PM 28th Sept

Nothing out there today, just cant see what Cooper is trying to achieve with this team. They're totally bereft of any tactical nous or movement. -
My mate met him on the train this week, he is out with a knock, down to earth but shy apparently. Was carrying a fold up bike got off at loughborough to cycle to Seagrave!

I hope they have left enough in the pot for a management change

If we're serious about staying up, a decision needs to be made very quickly.

Reasonable squad managed by an inept manager. We will sleep walk into relegation and make a decision when it's too late. The apathy around these performances is the same apathy that got us relegated last time.

Get rid

What number would they be looking at for losses, theirs levels or the EPL? Can they suspend punishments if they were supposed to be metered out this year? Its all very wishy washy, and that's the issue with the rules they have written. Could we argue the reverse, at year end we were an EPL club bound by their rules, that would be amusing....

My palace ST holder mate is genuinely gutted to see him leave

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

We need a Thai TV Network to do a show like the Wrexham one on Netflix, call it say Dilly Ting, Dilly Tong. Top gives said TV network 50m and the the Network pay the club for the rights to follow the club and broadcast it, 49m per season is a fair figure. -

When should the 22-23 punishment / points deduction taken effect, last season? Does the EPL have it in the rules that they can suspend punishment by a season? What if a club fails PSR, is then relegated and doesn't come back up for 5 years, do they then get the deduction for the breach in the EPL? The whole thing is total bollocks. -

As there was no cross agreement to punish teams and there appears to be a year in arrears for punishment in the EFL punishment, i think the PL and EFL could be pissing in the wind. If we pass PSR by June 30th I suspect we may be ok. -
Questions to be asked at manager interviews

What is your belt collection like? -
I can confirm 100%. Mr Rudkin will have a lovely new Hugo Boss suit for the interviews.

I doubt Vestergaard and Vardy are on more than their last deals. The 200k is NET of those three leaving. I wouldn't be surprised if Vardy and Vestergaard are on drastically reduced wages with hefty bonus structures for milestones and staying up, but then again, this is LCFC....

What year were Everton and Forest charged under for their recent points deductions? The way I see this, and its a wild guess, is that our punishment could not be given to us this footballing year as we were not in the EPL. Are we to assume the EPL can suspend the punishment until the following year? If by some miracle we pass PSR this year by selling a player or two and Enzo leaving before the end of June then I suspect we may not face a points deduction at all. This could be why we robustly defended ourselves against the EPL and EFL, both which backed down. This will no doubt cause uproar across the EPL and could rumble on for some time. -
What Have You Enjoyed Most About This Season?

Less random game times Saturday 3pm kickoffs (mostly) No VAR Less diving and rolling around. Ahem, games available online via club website. Vardy, this guy is an enigma. Renaissance of Vestergaard The signings we made mostly featured as first team players. -
The away end should be called the Vardy stand.
