I can confirm 100%. Mr Rudkin will have a lovely new Hugo Boss suit for the interviews.

I doubt Vestergaard and Vardy are on more than their last deals. The 200k is NET of those three leaving. I wouldn't be surprised if Vardy and Vestergaard are on drastically reduced wages with hefty bonus structures for milestones and staying up, but then again, this is LCFC....

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
drew replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
What year were Everton and Forest charged under for their recent points deductions? The way I see this, and its a wild guess, is that our punishment could not be given to us this footballing year as we were not in the EPL. Are we to assume the EPL can suspend the punishment until the following year? If by some miracle we pass PSR this year by selling a player or two and Enzo leaving before the end of June then I suspect we may not face a points deduction at all. This could be why we robustly defended ourselves against the EPL and EFL, both which backed down. This will no doubt cause uproar across the EPL and could rumble on for some time. -
What Have You Enjoyed Most About This Season?
drew replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Less random game times Saturday 3pm kickoffs (mostly) No VAR Less diving and rolling around. Ahem, games available online via club website. Vardy, this guy is an enigma. Renaissance of Vestergaard The signings we made mostly featured as first team players. -
The away end should be called the Vardy stand.

A low rent Rodgers, a fraud with severe dunning-kruger syndrome. That game has done me.
-
Poor bugger flew private, not even getting any air miles for his trip

He’s doing our heads in!

Was told earlier that nacho isn’t in the squad but my mate refuses to say why. Something has happened or is happening, coy f@@ker

Their short haul business class product, their long haul is exceptional as is the IST lounge.
-
Problem is people now know when the game is going to end so pile out and block the views for some, I’m not affected but I think a few people will get fed up this season
-
Sad to lose a local hero.
-
I think we all just assume footballers are greedy mercenaries now and always looking for their next payday. Barnes doesn’t strike me as that kind of footballer. If we wants to stay for family reasons good for him.

How easy is it to get tickets to the Leuven game

We could buy in June against sales in July? It's all funny money and shifting of numbers, but if the EFL review accounts for the years they are in the league then this could be a reason, however yours seems more plausible.
-
Club have extended the accounting period by a month. Wild stab in the dark is to do business early and the losses posted in the year we're in the premier league, not sure how the EFL view accounts for clubs that drop down.

Manager for the Championship rebuild - who do you want?
drew replied to Happy Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I’d give it to Smith. He’s had them for 8 games, knows the team better than anyone else coming in fresh and knows what he will need next season. Time is not on our side with that many players needing to be replaced in the close season. -
What is the first thing the club has to do?
drew replied to BenTheFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
If they haven't war roomed this situation and planned for next season based on the two eventualities then the board should leave at the earliest oppotunity. I suspect there are offers already on the table for Barnes and Maddison. -
Who will be renewing their season ticket?
drew replied to David Hankey's topic in Leicester City Forum
Unlikely not, missed a lot of this season due to work travel and had some condescending twat who i'd never seen before in front of me make a comment about never going and i shouldn't moan about how bad it has been. I doubt the travel will ease up so no point paying when i can pick the games I go to based on my availability. Had my ST for 17 years. -
Bunch of bottle jobs

And that's after picking the players up from a dreadful run of form. I think he's done ok in the short space of time he's had.
-
Everyone will get a clean slate. He has to pick these players up and there is no point alienating some from day one.
-
Half the squad are off or out of contract, the wage bill will be substantially lower.

No doubt spent the last few days negotiating the inevitable failure reward exit package. I haven't felt like this since the days of Craig Levein.
