You have to wonder how the average matchday experiance would be different in this country if we had fans who actually cared. The way we've been treated in England just would'nt have been accepted elsewhere.
You'll have a fight on your hands as the new generation don't care in fact embrace most of it. America will become more and more dominent in our market. Wait for the expanded world club championship, the EFL games played in America etc....Thats where 'soccer' is going.
No doubt he'll be paid more, and have a bigger budget. Plus stevenage are probably punching above their weight. Rotherham have spent 6 seasons on the last 10 in the Championship.
Rotherham are definately the bigger club.
edit: Mike beat me to it lol.
It is funny listening to the likes of Merson and Sherwood talk about the english teams, you'd think it was a foregone conclusion (no office jokes) they would win. Sherwood calling the french league micky mouse before PSG dumped out Barcelona, Merson saying Man city's only competition is arsenal as they and man city both get knocked out.
Well thanks to them and english teams often getting over hyped I had a double on Bayern and Real madrid to progress...so thanks.
Wasn't it just, although everytime i catch a game from the bundesliga its a reminder of how the football culture in England has died.
Germany is Utopia for football fans.
My post wasn't a dig at you or anyone who applauded, it was simply an observation that shows the different mentality of our fans hence 'there's no understanding our fans'. Applaud, boo, thats up to you.
