Never a fan until I bought that album a few years ago, better late than never, great LP.

It's something I mentioned years ago, having quite a lot of knowledge on soccer in the US it was pretty obvious to me what the Americans wanted. They wanted to have a huge stake in English and other European leagues to be able to flex their muscle...which they have. They wanted European clubs to play competitive league games in the US which now the La Liga president stated they want within 2 years, they pushed for the expanded World Club Championships with MLS clubs which they got. Their ultimate goal is for MLS teams to be involved in some super league or for the scrapping of the European CL for a World Champions league.

Maybe we should push for safe sitting instead, nice comfy armchairs with clapper holders?

Can't imagine theres another club where theres such a disconnect between the owners and the fans. But its all planned and its worked, it will be even worse in the Premier league.

Well as i feared Croydon did make it into the playoffs and beat Jersey away, so they are one step closer. Jersey cant seem to get out of this division. Harborough beat Anstey away 0-2 in the playoff final. And the 'massive' Bury AFC couldn't get automatic promotion and now have lost the play offf final on penalties to Wythenshawe Town. Wythenshawe FC won the division, so both Wythenshawe clubs promoted, must be a rarity.

What an anti climax not just for us but was hoping for some last minute drama for relegation/promotion...nowt.

OK here's something for the players out there. It's a bugbear of mine when a player plays his safety shot then walks around the table to see what shot his opponent has. Why do they do this? I have never done it. What diference does it make, its not your shot. Maybe I'm missing something here
