  1. Blame isn’t on Rodgers, last night was down to players being lazy. Soyuncu’s lazy defending, Perez completely lacked effort. Soyuncu caught ball-watching again, he is damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t at the moment. He’ll either go headfirst in with a brash tackle and wind up out of position, or he’ll watch the opposition glide past him and make a half-arsed effort to catch his man. Perez should have buried that chance from the corner, any Premier League forward worth their salt and vinegar would finish that off. God knows where his head was at. KDH had a good game though.
  2. Realistically he’s been a great servant and we are likely to lose him. He’s not irreplaceable, but he’s a damn good player. Definitely seems like there is a trend of younger players running down their contracts and leaving on a free to the bigger clubs. Hopefully this isn’t the case for long as it massively benefits the bigger clubs that can pay bumper wages to a large number of players.
  3. Final piece of the jigsaw will be this image immortalised with a statue after the stadium development, add in Khun Vichai for good measure!
  4. DJ Campbell has to start.
  5. Pics or it’s bullshit
  6. I reckon once he gets used to the system at Leicester he’ll be a good addition. He’s definitely not had an electric start but wouldn’t like to write him off yet
  7. Writing him off so early is very (C2H4)n behaviour
  8. Plastics being very quick to write him off
  9. All these ellipses, it’s like a crime thriller! Very dramatic. Anyway shut up with your logic, start Ian Nacho!
  10. St Ledger and Nugent had Nandos-Monopoly date days during the week back in the heady days of the early 2010s. Completely unrelated, did anyone ever figure out a decent name for that decade? The tenties? Tenners?
  11. Even more silverware for Forest fans to gawk at
  12. Shame there aren’t any bangers of a song about lasagna, if there were we’d have a smashing chant. Would not wanna pasta that opportunity up.
  13. Keen for this match, best of luck to anyone travelling down. Hopefully Milwall supply us with our paper clapper and plastic water bottle quota.
  14. Rodgers mistake at the moment is relying on Vardy, he’s bagged a few goals but I don’t think his style is conducive to the overall style. Vardy at his best scores goals against the run of play, whereas Rodgers’ system tries to dictate the match. It’s screaming for Iheneacho to start and get on the end of build-up play. Playing Iheanacho with Vardy over Maddison needs to come in soon.
  15. Only goal song that’d be appropriate is Return of the Mack
  16. Anyone know what trouble was kicking off in the family stand after the whistle? Any scrapping?
  17. My dream’s to marry Carey Mulligan and have a hair transplant.
  18. Fair point, I think football has moved slightly away from rigid formations, but Vardy floating slightly off Iheanacho would provide both the spontaneity of Vardy’s play while giving Kelechi the opportunity to lead the line and finish off more focussed attacking build-up.
  19. Proved last season he can play with Vardy, it’s a fallacy that they can’t start together.
  20. Really hope Thanawat Suengchitthawon comes on during this match, have been working on a banger of a chant for him to the tune of Rock the Casbah.
  21. Boring thread, same vein as those people saying soldiers should get the same wages as footballers. If a Subway worker got offered to triple his salary at Burger King, we’d call him a fool for not jumping ship.
  22. Pier Larrauri
  23. I always read your posts with a Brian Blessed-esque internal voice
