Against the West Indies, when they were good, I think?

JJ, Ayew and Skipp - The good, The Bad and The Ugly!
-
If that the case, why would he say we have a plan for JJ, surely that’s would be a wrong way to look at it

He’s here on a season long loan, let’s enjoy while we can. There was always a risk he could/ will not sign for us at the end of the season. With the predicted points deductions incoming, as well the lack of activity in the transfer market, there was alway chance this was going to happen. I hopes he stays, but it’s highly unlikely. It’s a shame, because I think he genuinely feels something for the club!
-
He needed to be rested today, as well as a number of the squad, but such is our squad, we have to play them.
-
I’m happy for Silko, I thought he did well when he came on. He’s got pace, he’s stronger on the ball than Daka and he’s can press. Let’s see how he gets on, before judging. I hope he’s does well🏆🏆🏆

Yes, he’s too good for us, but I still want his to sign for us.

But we won. With all the negativity at the club, that’s an achievement. We need to string a few results together, and develop from there. With everything going on at the club atm, it’s can’t be easy for Marti and it won’t be easy for any incoming manager.

I don’t think we such position we should judging other managers. How many of us poo poo the idea of getting in someone like Dyche, Moyes and/or Lampard, I bet we wish we had one of them managing us now. We are simply not in a place where we can choose who we want as manager, that’s how we’ve ended up with the likes of Steve Cooper and the rest! You never know Carrick /Gerrard could be a Raneri moment!
-
With all the negatively around the club, I think we will lose. It’s a shame, but this negativity around club, will rub off the players. The manager gets criticised,, but how can anyone work within this environment, with these players? yes, the manager says all the right things, and you can hear him on the touchline, but I feel the players have been sucked into this feeling of negativity!

Got to be a fake. Doesn’t even sound professional -
You can’t put the 1st goal on Nelson, he was trying to make a recovery tackle when he was nutmeg. Okoli misplaced pass was what caused the trouble, it simply unbalanced him. I thought he was good at travelling with the ball, he got us up the pitch, more than anyone. As for the 2nd goal, Jacob should have come out to rather the ball, positionally he was in the right place, if Jacob done his job right!

LCFC 1-2 Watford, post match thread

Watford didn’t really create much. Both of their goals came from our mistakes. The 1st goal, Olkoi 1st touch allowed the Watford player to close him down and the 2nd goal, wtf was Jacob doing. I think he thought the ball was going to nestle into his glove , instead of going to the ball. So annoying, this is even before we can talk about the manager. His subs were appalling, Why he does he wait so long to bring onto his sub. I would have brought on Ramsay after 60 mins. Thomas has the pace to get behind their defence, which was what we lacked. Another observation, I made from the game, was when Monga came in, he was demanding the ball in the half space, where he could run onto the ball, but instead everything was played to feet and he had to attack from a standing position, which meant it slowed everything down, basic football intelligence or the lack of it is also hurting us. Not sure if the change of manager would change anything, if we can’t change any of the above!!! -
Merry Christmas, stay healthy and safe🎄

And he’s been injured

For me, it’s important to get a decent Technical Director in place, ASAP, so that they see 1st hand what’s needs to change, including the Manager, that’s when a proper reset can start. As I’ve said, we not going anywhere this season, so let get a TD in place for the remainder of the season and let them assess what changes need to be made, before the start of next preseason. The whole process could take a few season, but if I can see genuine progress, I could buy into that.
-
No point sacking him now. We are going nowhere. We need a proper reset, some of the deadwood will go at the end of the season. What I want to see to the end of the season, is some of the young players given more match time and players having pride and passion playing for the club I love!!!

Makes me wonder, this is a massive communication cock up. They would have known about this, with at least a month in advance, but nobody told the staff this and hence the last minute communication. Also, you just can’t change a payroll run, last minute, payroll company would need notice to make these changes. I read somewhere on Percy article that the club will support staff, how I don’t know!!!!

I really feel sorry for the manager. We finally seem to be getting it right on the pitch, then all this sh&t kicks off! I only hope the players can reman focus and get a positive result tomorrow!
-
The problem is, since we moved the Seagrave, players we brought in, have been brought for possession based football, and they are not suited to high energy football, everyone else is playing, so it’s no wonder our players look knackered!

Bristol City 2-2 LCFC - Post Match Thread

The fact they score within a minute after the break, obviously this gave them a big lift and put us on the back foot. If we managed to not concede for at least 15 mins, things may have been different! -
What was that all about😡😡😡

Would you want us to be relegated to L1?
Lad1966 replied to Collymore's topic in Leicester City Forum
No - I support LCFC, not necessary the players or the Manager we currently have, but I support the club and I want us to be the best version of what we can be with have players wise we have, at the highest level, weather that means staying in the championship for a few seasons and rebuilding from there, so be it!- 137 replies
