I would have Traore here as well. You are correct final ball and finishing are awful. But he creates chances and always will be a constant threat. He will have to be closely marked and will leave more space for Maddison, Barnes for example. Personally, I would say he will improve our side. But I can not see us signing a RW this window.

Anything under 5 million and we should be interested Brennan Johnson. Was excellent in League One, in his first season of first team football. Similar to James Justin, worth a risk for someone with potential. Can play central or on either wing. Attacking player but tracks back, quick, good close control. for 5 million will be a great option.
-
Still a decent player, great experience to add to our young side. Provides good options with Luke Thomas until JJ is back to full fitness. Looking to be a very good transfer window.
-
He has been below his usual standards for sure. Youri has played a lot of football this year and to me he looks looks physically tired. An amazing player who gave everything this season for us which looks to have taken its toll on him right now. Could be wrong of course, just what I think.
-
Definitely can add Cambiasso to the list too. Still played very well whilst at Leicester, incredible player. Mancini - Just have to look how well he is doing with Italy. Organised, good football, exciting to watch. If Rodgers chooses to leave then Mancini would be a good option. Depending if he wants to stay with national team.
-
I do agree with you one of the best ever players to put on the Leicester shirt. However, when he was with us this was the end of his career and we didn't see the best of him. As your video shows Mancini was a brilliant player though. Regarding the best players for us I would look towards Vardy, Kasper, Kante, Mahrez for example. These players really took our club to the pinnacle of domestic football. We can always questions Mahrez attitude when he wanted to leave but what an amazing player for us.

If we have to sell one player this summer, Maddison is the one I will feel best about losing, as long as the fee is 60million +. Tielemans, Ndidi, Fofana, impossible to replace right now. Maddison on his day is brilliant. But he drifts in and out of games too much. Maybe his pre West Ham off the pitch actions hinder my thinking. But I think he is the best asset to sell. Use the money from Arsenal, to replace him with 3 talented players, Edouard + Soumare and maybe a RW. Praet and KDH can rotate in replacing Maddison. Still a strong squad for the season.

Thanks for sharing.. For me Youri should be involved in the player of the season. Gundagon had a spell of 2 months where he was brilliant. Not really for the whole season. KDB by his own standards I don't think matched his previous seasons. Youri has had a brilliant season for a team who finished 5th and won the FA Cup. I think he definitely deserved to be in this list.
-
Correct on his attitude, he definitely can let his head go down. I think in a better team he could be excellent. Can play either wing and ST. Could be a good attacking option for us. Definitely strength in depth for our, just a personal opinion though.
-
Spurs and Everton after Zaha for 40 million. Personally hope he joins us. Can play up top, always scored against us, can play left or right wing. Think he will add to our attacking threat excellently. He will have to be marked closely leaving space for barnes, Vardy, Kelechi. Could be a great option.
-
Would anyone take Deli from Spurs this summer? Apparently they want to sell him. Still at an age where Brendan can develop him, and can add to Maddison, Tielemans in midfield options. Personally think could be a good player for us. Maybe a move can kick start his career again.

Ranieri won the league and still was sacked a few months later. If Rodgers wants to go, let him go. I genuinely don't see why the media make such a big fuss of him. He did great winning the FA cup, incredible! But 3 out of the last 5 seasons he has let massive points leads go. This is not a one off. Liverpool title, and now 2 times for us. Ndidi cb when we have cb on the bench. Changing Maddison and going defensive to invite pressure on. Sticking with 4-4-2 when we needed a goal, and playing Perez left midfield. Southampton 10men for 80 mins, Newcastle at home, West Ham away. All in the last 7 matches of the season didn't win one, and worse didn't even look like winning one. Evans injury and Fofana definitely did not help him at all. If we can give Rodgers praise for winning the cup (which we all have to) then he needs to accept the defeats that come with this. 2 years in a row, let slip a big points lead.
-
When you lose a 10 point lead with 8 games to go, once it is bad. For it to happen on 2 occasions is unforgivable. A third time for Brendan, there is something seriously wrong. You can not continue to lose great points advantages on 3 occasions. Already cost him title with Liverpool, 1 champions league with ourselves and maybe for a second time. He is a good coach to a certain level, then end of the season something starts to go wrong and he does not know how to fix it.

Fully agree Traore has stalled, I would like to see your opinion on if you think he offers something different to anything else we have though? I feel Traore will always occupy 2 defenders because of his speed and ability to go past a player. Leaving potentially more space for Barnes, Vardy, Kelechi and Maddison. For 30 million I don't think the fee is that bad. Maybe a change could be good for him. Roughly 1 year ago he was being talked about for double the figure due to his performances. Potentially could sell Perez and Hamza (not due to last weekend party) just on players who we can likely improve as squad players for 20-25 million for them both. Then Traore maybe for 5 million more. I think with Traore there is a player who could be useful option for our team.

Definitely agree, My first ever away game. Down to 10, Izzet with this incredible winner right in front of our fans. What a game.
-
I don't mean this to come across in a rude way. Genuinely interested - How would you define talent ? Talented as in dribbling then I would say Mahrez. For control of a game I would say Tielemans, watch his passing and 1st time especially. I can not remember him giving the ball away today. He controlled the game and was the best player on the pitch. To watch players like this in a Leicester shirt, incredible. Losing Kante + Drinkwater, now to Ndidi + Youri. We must have one of the best scouting departments in the game.
-
Yes that is correct, Puel knew Ricardo from Nice I believe. Puel did sign quite a few players, I think he would have made a good Director of football actually.
-
Its a good thought and interesting topic. Kasper will not go on for ever, but I think he is looking almost better than ever at the moment. I think he has 2-3 years realistically at a top level. Iversen potentially will be ready in that time. But he needs this current loan and maybe a loan to another Premier League team next year to further his development. Then we can see if he steps up to the level.
-
Agree on 4 of these (Not familiar with Paoulo / Olise that is all). Tarkowski will be a very good option to add to our team. McGregor to add great experience and versatility. Brooks when fit is a very talented young player who BR can improve, similar to Barnes. I am not sure how quick Brooks is but technically he looks very good. Eduoard I would take as well as a great option. These signings and this is a very good transfer window.
-
You have a point, but this in in 2-3 years we will start to look into a GK. Iversen apparently has been getting good reviews. And Kasper is still playing very well. The striker is the worry, I think this will be sorted this summer with a back up option for Vardy. Eduard at Celtic could be the player. With European + cup games there will be a lot of matches for him to get used to the team as such and then be pushing for a start. Contract running down value could be very reasonable.

Ndidi was outstanding against Liverpool! I think yesterday was the game other clubs will realise just how good he is. I think BT said we have lost 6 games and he didn't play in 5 of them. We seem to sell one player a year, and have done amazing with Maguire and Chilwell replacements. He is the best DM in the league, in my opinion.

Not really happy with 3 at the back against Liverpool. We can not give space to Robertson or Trent, I know they have been poor this season, but guaranteed they will be brilliant today. Would have preferred playing 2 wingers against them. -
Judging a players potential far too early

Jordon Stewart would be my answer for this. Very excited to see his first few games and thought we have a superb player who has progressed through the academy. Never quite turned out as well as I expected. -
His ability to run with the ball is incredible. I would like to see a team of Under, Barnes and Vardy as the front 3. For some reason Brendan seems to use Under as an impact sub. For me he offers a lot more than others who currently play. Barnes certainly has the attributes for a striker as you have mentioned, and his work rate makes him the most obvious replacement for Vardy. When Vardy first arrived at our club he was not great receiving under the pressure from opposing CBs, now for me he is one of the best in the league with laying the ball off and always a threat in behind. Barnes certainly has someone he can learn from if the club see Barnes as an alternative. We have not done so well against the "lesser " sides, this is where we always seem to stumble. I hope I am wrong for tonight. We missed a trick with not getting a striker in the window and strengthening the side, I think. Just for a boost to the team, in case injuries happen, extra motivation in training. Everton and Wolves both got strikers this window in on loan. Nothing wrong with trying new options, I would rather do that, than continue with something that clearly does not work.
-
I don't think he is underrated but fans and certainly not our manager. Barnes starts every game. We know how good he is. I still think we keep Barnes where he is doing so well. Agree on his recent goals, from central positions, however he is not the striker in those scenarios. He is not receiving the ball with a defender behind him. He is always on the half turn. Because he can drift from the wing he is a lot harder to pick up. I just can't see moving of one our best players at the current time. Massively agree we need to change the striker or our approach. I may be wrong and he could be like a Bale leading the line for Wales. Interesting who Rodgers chooses tonight, I would guess he will stick with Perez though.
