We've also got 4 very decent CBs at this level but can't help but feel there's a better combo available. I suspect we'd have won if we'd had 11 players but it certainly would've been very close, and I think that illustrates how far off we are from 2 years ago.

It will be the same team as the one that recently won and played well. Page the only one likely to drop out, despite showing a lot of promise. No idea which new signing will come in for him, but the squad suddenly looks a lot stronger, which is great.

Glad to see RVN being mentioned. He really was that bad. We've had some shockers but he seemed the most clueless to me. I like him. Appreciate we'd surely sell for a decent fee but if we don't replace him...??! Season over. I'd love to think we've loads of deals lined up in case of any outgoings, but I highly doubt it.

Not sure there's enough time left to sort out any incomings, unless they're already well progressed, which seems unlikely. I suspect BEK will go and that'll be the only one of note.

If we end up getting £30m+ or it's 26 and a decent sell on fee, then fair enough. If it's just £26m then we've not done very well there. I suppose it depends on if/how it's spent anyway...
