  1. We will concede, as we almost do without fail now, and we look less clinical up front currently BUT was there in Jan for the cup and think we will nick it 2-1, expect and hope the same on Friday, as picked De Mont for Weller BUT will be there on Friday.
  2. Everything you say is totally right here. You err on the side of caution AND if you have the SLIGHTEST doubt, you walk away, the choice is plentiful out there. OR even you get by with what you have and it might be enough. One player will not decide a teams performance on the levels we have been at in the last 4 years. Fans/Club get desperate for one player like Sensi for example, yes we have gone backwards BUT promotion is still in OUR hands & we had an encouraging win against one of the Div's better teams on Monday. Top taking his eye off the ball over 3-4 years, but it may not be his personal/business priority but then his lieutenants need to treat the clubs money not like confetti, and do the job in his absence. We shouldn't have bumped up Brendan's salary when the press shouted Arsenal, that was why we were stuck with him at the end, maybe we would have got shot earlier and then not gone down, he might even have been more motivated on a lower salary. Then Fofana got injured & we panicked with the pointless Bertrand & not FPL level Jannik, along with Soumare & Daka, so the transfer purse string owner & chooser, needs to go. Again Souttar, Kristensen & Tete, were ok to start but not enough to keep us up and Tete was a joke. Who was responsible for that & the massive salaries mean none will walk & we can't push understandably because nobody will buy. Get up and get the premier league money, got to be in it to win it, Luton, Burnley & Sheff U have been poor, slight chance we might be better and importantly we buy ourselves time and much additional income to make this better or right. And the stadium won't be full next season IF we don't go up and all the quality has to be got rid of, and mid or lower table mediocrity beckons, see Stoke.
  3. I saw the first link last night but was going out so didn't look at anymore, which has made me not kneejerk react. At this point most of us understand very little about this, not sure the club are clear, as are the PL or EFL. We just need to give this some time to settle and get to the truth, media talk is speculation and perceptions. Make sure we ideally finish 1st or 2nd at worst, see if that gets us up and then take it from there. This just has to all calm down, as so few are truly informed, and that is ALL parties, fans, club, governing bodies, press/social, the lot. Lets get to the actual facts and then we can ALL try and deal with it!!!
  4. RWC Super Saturday Murray
  5. With only 1739, how far is this going?? 520/501 OR All STH's??? I'm very keen to go
  6. Time to rest Wout, for 2 years he has either gone to ground heroically when he hasn't read the game early & well enough and got there too late, blamed others and just made the same mistakes repeatedly for nearly 2 seasons now. Both Coady and Nelson are better options currently, Coady played 120 mins against Bournemouth A (clean sheet) and looked ok yesterday in a 10, and Nelson is the future. BUT we did not concede 2 goals this season until mid Dec against Millwall & then Birmingham. Including Middllesbrough, we have conceded twice in 5 out of the last 7 games & we have stopped scoring heavily, simple maths really tells us we will and have stopped winning games!!!! Certainly something is wrong at the back AND we have options. But we need to stop conceding 2 goals a game, reduce that to 1 and we will most of the last 9, starting with this.
  7. Everybody's right but we did beat Bournemouth away 1-0 too
  8. Most of the personnel have changed but we have the same mentality as the last 1/3 of last season, FEAR. 3 great chances 1st 10 mins and the keeper had next to nothing to do rest of the game. They are lazy as they don’t kick on anymore when they take the lead. Just going backwards all the time. This is totally up for grabs now even though we are 3 clear. Wont be an enjoyable watch when we should have coasted it with the lead we had. That’s Lestah!!!
  9. How many tickets will we sell for this? Will it get to 6k???
  10. Based on this logic looking Sat 12.30, will the tickets go on sale next week OR the week after as I am on holiday next week?
  11. Points in the bag, Bristol Or just spread them across the 2 games, 5 subs when all said and done.
  12. And Tuesday night showed they can man up, Coady played well & they looked good as a pair against a Premier League side. Is now the time for him to start a game again with Jannik? Marcal had a great game and really grew into it and will have the confidence after a poor first half & game against Birmingham, looks ready as Mcateer is going backwards. Yunus looked passionate and really up for it. Choudhury has just had 2 very good performances back to back Plus the returning Winks, KDH, Stephy, Wout, Mads Only players off colour are Doyle & Cannon. Champions & Wembley, c'mon!!!
  13. He's backed it up, thats important, he was pretty decent Friday in a cauldron & yes very good last night, good engine too, when lots were blowing out of their rear ends
  14. Dick? TBF He has been an actual revelation. He was brilliant on Friday, and last night, for me that was the acid test, a prem team. Passed with flying colours. The run at the end when he tried to "dink" it over the keeper, comedy gold, but brilliant of course. Enzo's style TOTALLY suits him and brings out the best of him.
  15. Now that was an away trip!!! Marcel brilliant 2nd half & Extra time, pleased he turned it around after poor at Birmingham & 1st half tonight. Top kudos to all of them, really dogged it out & probably created the better chances, Cov A then Wembley
  16. Will we know TV Change BEFORE they go on sale, see last current TV game is 23rd March, so assume we will??? That times great for me, can then do get back & do something with my weekend.
  17. Any away pubs near the ground rather than in the city centre?
  18. And they have had more possession & shots & corners, deserve a point!!!
  19. Hurrah for Hull, a couple of mins left for Rotherham to equalise, cmon u Millers!!!
  20. Anybody know any parking? My lad is driving from London & picking me up from the train station? Then we'll park somewhere near the ground hopefully.
  21. Was getting train but driving, best street parking please, did go to Rob Edward’s unveiling last time out, but couldn’t find where I parked on the map, any suggestions greatly accepted👍👏
  22. Interestingly the Mercury/Leicestershire Live said this: "But despite that, City have made themselves look incompetent and disorganised. That Maresca didn’t know until January had already begun that City needed to sell before they could buy suggested poor communication behind the scenes. Then, on deadline day, they’ve flown a potential signing over, conducted a medical, but then failed to negotiate the deal successfully. From the outside, it looks like a shambles." Harsh but fair from the Local rag. Not sure if its Rudders, or others, BUT we don't seem very good at this part of running a football club. When we won the title and after, we took the plaudits for purchasing Vardy, Kante, Mahrez, Maguire BUT then we bought Slimani, Silva (£22m), Daka, Soumare, Bertrand, Vestergaard, expensive failures. Daka blows so hot and cold and I'm a small fan, but the miss on Tuesday was him all over, Vestergaard was bought for the Premier League NOT the Championship. We had 1 good window 18/19 Madders, Cags, Ricardo but we started early, good planning, there was so much about getting Madders in as soon as the summer window opened, GREAT PLANNING. 22/23's lack of Summer activity probably sent us down, by 2pts. Do business earlier, sometimes say NO (we did yesterday by sounds of it) but don't do the embarrassing circus first, kill it off at the pass. And also negotiate on performance or walk away, Soumare came in at 21/22 on £80k a week, say to him you're an unproven PL player, we'll pay you £30-40k first season, if you prove yourself you can get the salary in following seasons or WALK AWAY and so no 1 player will not decide where we finish. Look at Liverpool at the moment, Salah, Endo etc are absent and they are probably better AND they have chucked the kids in. Ben Nelson Looks a great prospect, then can do a job etc.. Also sounds like Manager and DOF need to work closer together IF there are disagreements/lack of clarity/misunderstandings, thats on Rudders as he has been all this time (sadly) to educate the newbie Maresca, etc. Lets learn, Rudders is still there and has been there for a number of years now and has been through these debacles a number of times e.g. Silva & the fax, last night etc. DON'T DO IT AGAIN I presume we will have a good wedge to spend in the summer, we are very likely going to go up, we will know perhaps end March??? From that point know who you are buying... and make it happen by END June/Mid July and don't be held to ransom by transfer fee OR SALARY, different Retail Financial world now. And have a 18/19 window not any of the others AND buy 4-6 players that ensure we stay up, no gambles, proven performers as much as possible OR WALK from the deal. But get BETTER AT THIS!!
  23. You know its dragged on, when have got to page 80
