As a plumber myself and I turn up on a job for the first time i always remove my shoes. You get customers saying "oh dont bother i need to hoover anyway" or "we have dogs so it wont make a difference" Probably if he worked for a company the famous 'health and safety' came into it so he cant remove his footwear. It does make me laugh though when tradespeople put on overshoes upon entering a property but then keep them on when fetching tools from the van or walking around outside, whats the point in that.

My daughter has logged it via the police website and has notified her insurance. It didnt look too bad last night but in daylight it shows up more, it has scratched the bumper and the wing so basically 2 panels will need repairing so its not something we are just going to let go.

Why do people consider it ok knowing they have hit a parked car and then drive off anyway 😡 My daughter was parked in the car park at her netball club tonight and a van pulled out of the space next to her and has scratched and scrapped the corner of her front bumper. Witnesses saw the male driver get out the van and look and then just got back in and drove away. We have very clear photos of the van and registration so do we report him to the police straightaway or do you give him time as it has been reported to the football and rugby teams that share the car park that there are witnesses

If im not to late you shouldnt remove the boiler casing unless you are Gas Safe registered. They are room sealed now and if they are not refitted correctly you could cause further problems.

My Dad worked with his Dad at a local quarry when he started to come into the reckoning at City. Apparantly he was desperate to stay at Leicester, being a local lad, but other clubs offered longer contracts etc so he had to think of the long term plan and moved on. Sad to hear and just goes to show you never know what the future will bring
