Totally agree. Spent 5-6 years driving to Bedford, that was around 77 miles and a minimum of 90 mins each way. Its not to bad in the lighter days but it really drags in the winter. I hate driving now and i put it down to this. Is spending 12-14 hours out the house every working day worth a time in your life you will never get back?

Think i can remember reading somewhere that except for the 2 'rush hours' its used by 3 buses an hour and none during the night

Came on here to post something similar. Been driving down the A6 in Leicester (from Oadby to top of London Rd) quite a few times over the last month or so and the bus lane is clearly marked 7:30am-9:30am. Why have i not seen a single other person use it even though its 3pm? Like you say you get so many glares people thinking you are some sort of mass murderer.

Im currently on the 3 network and im due an upgrade. Been looking at sticking where i am but there doesnt seem to be any great deals with them. Im not bothered about an all singing all dancing top of the range phone (i would like to stick with Samsung though) and would like minimum of 12Gb data and possibly pay no more than £30ish/month. Is it worth looking around at other networks to see if there any better deals around or is ringing them or visiting a store likely to get a better deal?

We done a stadium tour around 4 years ago and remember this being said by our guide. Whether its true or not is a different matter but once im within 50 metres of the King Power thats it for me.

Pretty sure thats not a drain cover from your toilet, looks more like a rodding point for a waste pipe from a kitchen sink or similar. They are most likely connected to the same drain so more than likely it is an issue somewhere further down the line and this is the point that its showing. If your drains/wastepipes are 'gluging' when you flush the toilet or empty the sink its definatly blocked somewhere.

The reason its so expensive is the 3 hours labour they had to pay him to sign it as he kept dropping the pen!!

We went to watch Leicester Women last season at Tottenhams ground. There was a woman a couple of rows in front of us with a baby also around 6 months old. She must have been out of her seat 8-10 times during the match and everytime she went not only did she obviously take the baby she also took a rucksack the size of a Mini assuming containing nappies, change of clothes, milk, food, wipes etc.. (do football grounds have nappy changing facilities?) Would you want to be sat next to that for 90 minutes. As has also been mentioned there was a flare let off within the concourse before the Arsenal match just a few weeks ago certainly not a place for a 6 month old.

Im assuming she had placed said baby in a baby carrier securely strapped on to the coach seat for the duration of the journey? Then again maybe not!! Really do wonder the thinking behind some people sometimes.

Woman at the checkout in a well known D.I.Y store today. Went with my brother as i was helping him do some work at his house and got to the checkout where she scanned the timber we had got and then i showed her my trade discount barcode on my phone. My brother went to pay and we were told he couldnt pay as i had used MY discount. Trying to explain to her it was ok in a different store 2 weeks ago all she would say is 'those are the rules'. So basically i had to pay and now my brother has to pay me back.

Brecel went for, and got most, some outragous pots yesterday. He does seem to be riding his look at the minute and surely that has to change at some point. Think if Selby wins the 1st session today and takes the lead into tonight then Brecel will fold and, hopefully, Selby can turn in a performance we know he is capable of and win quite comfortably. Dont want to be worrying about the snooker whilst watching Everton get stuffed 😁

Just walked in and switched the Selby match on. Must have been a long first 2 frames!!

On LCFC website there is hospitality tickets for this match but it is in a suite at the Tigers ground. So basically you pay £294 for a drink and 'bowl food' and then you have to walk to the King Power to take up your seat in the West stand. Is this a regular thing or is just because its Liverpool and people are stupid enough to do/pay it?
